Reaching Dragon's Pit in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is plain sailing, as you only have to follow a certain pathway. When you're starting from Castle Front Grace, follow the east road, move past the soldiers, and when the road is splitting in two, take the right side.

Proceed through the graveyard, keep following the road, and you will come across Pillar Path Waypoint Grace. Afterward, follow the southwest road until the invasion of the Ancient Dragon-Man.

Defeat him, follow the southern pathway, and at the end of it, you will find a cave. Go inside it and you will finally reach the Dragon's Pit Grace in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.

From the Dragon's Pit Grace, proceed forward and drop down from the ledge. There are two skeletons in this area that you have to kill. You can equip a weapon with Holy damage to make the fights easier. Otherwise, you have to hit the fallen skeletons again to secure the kill.

After that, collect six Smithing Stones [1] from the southwest's small area. Proceed to go in the northeast direction (be careful of a skeleton's ambush from the right). When you reach the ledge, follow the path on the left, and then kill two more skeletons.

When you're going to loot the Shadow Realm Rune [2] from the middle, two more skeletons will pop out. Then, go to the path on the east, drop down, and kill four more skeletons there. Following that, proceed through the north tunnel.

The next area has a Magma Wyrm mini-boss. It can be quite a hassle to kill it, and you must avoid getting hit as he lashes out an insane amount of damage. You can use the tunnel entrances to hide and damage the Magma Wyrm using long-range attacks.

Defeating it will grant you a Dragon Heart and an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. You can also find four Knot Resins and two Smithing Stones [5] in that place. Afterward, drop down from the hole in the west and follow the south side's tunnel. When you reach the open area, go straight north and jump down from the ledge.

When you are at the bottom, collect two Smithing Stones [4] from behind. Now you have to fight Ancient Dragon-Man, the main boss in Dragon's Pit, as you proceed forward. He is the same guy who invaded you earlier while reaching this cave.

Overcoming the Ancient Dragon-Man is not as complicated as it might seem, given that you only need to evade specific attacks when engaging with him. He wields a large Katana that can proc Bleed and performs horizontal and vertical slashes. Also, take note of his Dragonmaw along with Magma Breath attacks.

This time, you can use the Spirit Ashes to help you out. Defeating the Ancient Dragon-Man in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree will grant you 130,000 runes and the Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana.

Afterward, you have the choice to utilize the wispy strand for teleportation back to the cave entrance; however, you can also unlock the large southern door that leads to a new area. Keep advancing until you arrive at Dragon’s Pit Terminus Grace, and then the Foot of the Jagged Peak.
