The Darklight Catacombs in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is a small dungeon where you can get useful farm items, upgrade materials, great equipment, and more. Reaching the Darklight Catacombs in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree can be difficult, as you have to unlock an entirely new region using a secret path. You have to access the Main Gate Plaza Grace in the Shadow Keep first. From there, follow the path to the northwest and go to the top.

Then, go past the big hall with two black knights. Follow the southeast path past the boats, and after passing the stairs on the left, you will see a ladder on the left-side ledge. Go down using it (make sure not to fall into the water), get inside the room on the left side, and use another ladder to reach the bottom.

When you're in the room with a painting, it will have a hidden wall in the south. Attack or roll onto it to unlock it. After you're on the other side, go down the stairs and follow the path to find a coffin at the end. Interact with the object, and it will take you to the bottom of the waterfall.
Now, you can find the Castle Watering Hole Grace just ahead of you. You can use the Torrent and go south. As you're going that way, a Furnace Golem in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree will spawn; be careful of his long-range attacks.
After reaching the place where the water is going down, follow the path on its left and find the Recluses' River Upstream Grace. From there, move southward and jump across the gaps. Keep moving in that direction and jump onto the other side's rocks. Follow the southeast path on this side, and you will find the Recluses' River Downstream Grace.
Now, take the southern pathway that is going down by using the rocks carefully. When you're at the bottom, you need to jump across to the opposite side of the land with the foggy forest. Then, move east to find the Darklight Catacombs. Subsequently, open the door, use the lift to go down, and you can find the Darklight Catacombs Grace.

Darklight Catacombs in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree: Walkthrough
The most notable aspect of Darklight Catacombs in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is that this place is pretty dark, making it hard to see. Thus, ensure you turn on your lantern. It's worth noting that you can turn on the lights here later.
For now, move forward from the Darklight Catacombs Grace, kill the stone imp, and collect the Grave Glovewort [5]. Then go down the stairs to the east, then the ones to the north, and you will come to a place with two stone imps. Kill them, drop down from their location, and proceed through the west side's tunnel. At the end of it, use the lever to turn on the lights in this place.
Return to the last place where you dropped down from, kill the imp, and go through the south tunnel. Then, jump over the balcony on the right side and drop to the narrow ledge below. Move forward, and when you see a gap in front, drop down to the ledge below. On it, you can collect a Viridian Amber Medallion +3 in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.
Afterward, drop down from the north side, turn around, and proceed towards the southern tunnel. Kill the enemy and collect the Grave Glovewort [1]. Then, return to the last place where you dropped down. Run across the bridge and use the elevator to go to the bottom.

Move forward and go to the west side's tunnel. Before heading inside the room, make sure to kill the inquisitor on the top-right side with long-range attacks. Then move forward, eliminate the stone imp, and get the Grave Glovewort [2]. After that, make your way back and continue down the north-side stairs.
There's a narrow passage (near the left-side stairs) you have to go through. After that, climb up the ladder in the middle of the room there. When you're up, drop down from the west and use the lever to turn on the lights in this area. Then, drop down from onto the stairs below and collect the Thin Best Bones.
However, don't go down any farther; instead, go up, and you will see a tiny gap where the stairs are starting (on the south). Now, fall off the ledge, proceed forward, kill the enemy, and collect the Death Knight set inside the room. It contains:
- Death Knight Helm
- Death Knight Armor
- Death Knight Gauntlets
- Death Knight Greaves

Following that, use the big ladder on the south to go down, move forward, and rush to kill the enemy inside. Then, collect Ghost Glovewort [9], drop down from the eastern side, proceed down the stairs on the east, and use the elevator to go down.
Move forward, go down the stairs, and you will encounter a giant canon imp. Avoid its attacks by running and jumping. Then, go left. You will see a gate in the north direction. Go through it and use the lever to turn on the lights in this area and lower the platform from where the giant imp is throwing fireballs at you.
Kill the little imps in your area carefully. Then, use long-range attacks to eliminate the giant imp in the middle (use the pillars to avoid its attacks). After you beat this foe, it will drop a Great Ghost Glovewort. Lowering the platform beforehand is crucial, as you won't be able to get this loot from the imp otherwise. Moreover doing that helps make the foe easier to hit.
Collect the nearby loot dropped by the small imps. After that, jump down from the platform's south and collect the Bigmouth Imp Ashes from the chest. Then, climb up the ladder, follow the pathway, drop down, and you will find a Ghost Glovewort [4] in the north. Now, head towards the south, go down the stairs, and use the elevator to go to the bottom.
Proceed forward, and finally, you now have to fight the main boss, Jori, Elder Inquisitor of the Darklight Catacombs in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. He is a strong inquisitor with lots of abilities in his arsenal. Make sure to boast at least 10 Scadutree Blessings before fighting against him.
After you kill Jori, Elder Inquisitor, you will obtain a fantastic Faith-build weapon called Barbed Staff-Spear and also 260,000 runes. With this, you've completed the Darklight Catacombs, and you can interact with the Forsaken Graveyard Grace in it.
It's quite important to finish the dungeon in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree because it will unlock a new region called The Abyssal Woods.
