Fog Rift Catacombs in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree: Location

To get to the Fog Rift Catacombs in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, you must reach Castle Front Grace first. Then, follow the north-west pathway through the forest and at the end of it, you should see a door. Open it, move forward, and then use the lift to go down to find the Fog Rift Catacombs Site of Grace.

Fog Rift Catacombs in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree: Walkthrough

Continue forward from the Fog Rift Catacombs Grace in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree and a stone goblin will appear just ahead. Kill it and loot the Grave Gloveword nearby. Then, go to the right side passage, and after entering the big hall, sprint towards the left space to avoid taking damage from the spiked platform above.

Wait for the spiked platform to go up and kill more stone goblins there. From there, follow the path and before going down the stairs, you can obtain a Yellow Fulgurbloom on the left side. After the stairs, go to the right side room to find an Ancient Dragon Knight’s Cookbook [1] and another Yellow Fulgurbloom. Be careful of stone goblins.

Sometimes, killing stone goblins or any enemies there will grant you great loot, such as the Lizard Greatsword and smithing stones.

After that, go forward, move down the stairs, and stand on the edge. Wait for the spiked platform to come down and then jump above it. When it is going up again, move forward and hop onto the platform in front. Dodge the canon-headed stone goblin's attack and kill him. You can find three Knot Resin and a Yellow Fulgurbloom.

When the spiked platform is up again, hop on it, wait for it to go up, and then jump to the right-side tunnel. You will encounter a caste. Kill him and navigate to the next side passage where you must kill another caster. Move up the stairs and there will be four Messmer soldiers you have to kill. Take your time and down two soldiers at a time, as they can easily overwhelm you with a flurry of strong attacks.

After killing them, get the Great Ghost Glovewort. Then, go back, fall from the left-side ledge, and move to the right-side tunnel. Proceed forward, head down the stairs, take a left, and wait for the spiked platform to go up. You have to fall to the ground, roll backward, and you will see a room with a ladder.

Afterward, go up the ladder, follow the path, and you can obtain three Yellow Fulgurbloom. Then, jump down from there, take the right tunnel, and kill a canon-headed stone goblin. Again, wait for the spiked platform to move up, fall, and roll backward to a safe place. Wait for the platform to go up again, then sprint across the room to access the tunnel. You can obtain a Dragonbolt Grease on the way.

Go forward and you can use a lift to move down. Thereafter, you must kill several stone goblins in the next place. You can then collect four Rada Fruit from below and more Yellow Fulgurblooms. Go to the room located at the front, kill the enemies, and get Grave Glovewort there.

Exit the room and navigate to the right side to find a big hall with a spiked platform above. Sprint forward, get to a safe area on the left side, wait for the platform to go up, move to the next safe area, and fall from the hole. You can get another Grave Glovewort there.

Proceed to the right-side tunnel, go left, and loot the Electrocharge incantation in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. Return from there and go up the ladder on the left side. When you're up, move forward, and fall from the left side. Go down the stairs and you will again return to the big hall with a spiked platform above.

Like before, wait for it to go up, move to the left side's safe place, wait for it to go up again, move to the next safe place (don't fall), and use this method two more times to reach a safe location. You can obtain a Glass Shard along the way.

You might have to kill two stone goblins and one caster there. Then, you can loot the Shadow Realm Rune [3] from the coffin. Go to the front side, and when the platform is coming down, you should see a square platform you can jump onto. Carefully time your jump, hop on it, and when it's up, move forward to loot the Ash of War: Blinkbolt from the chest.

Afterward, wait for the platform to go down, go above it, and run forward. You will be able to see a tunnel on the right side. Go in there to collect the Stone-Sheathed Sword. Get down using the ladder on the left and pick up the Ghost Glovewort lying on the ground.

Fall from the room's right side hole and carefully cross the room (wait for the spiked platform) to go to the next location. Again, wait for the platform to go up, cross the room, loot a Broken Rune, and then use the lift to go down. Proceed forward and you will finally reach the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree boss, Death Knight.

The Death Knight is a strong mini-boss in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, and if you're not careful enough, he can kill you swiftly with deadly combos. Notably, using the Spirit Ash summon is quite useful against him.

If the Death Knight launches an offensive wing attack, you can roll dodge and strike him after the attack while he is still recovering. He may also throw lightning attacks. If you notice him gathering yellow lightning, dodge sideways twice.

When the Death Knight comes at you with his axes, dodge and move away to safety. Subsequently, approach him cautiously, take patient strikes, dodge his combos, and strike him again.
