Emotes in Clash Royale are used by players to interact with each other. Some are simple speech bubbles with short messages like "Thank You" and "Well Played", while others feature in-game characters accompanied by custom dialogues and soundtracks. Types of Emotes
There are three main types of emotes in Clash Royale:
- Speech Bubble Emotes: Speech bubbles contain simple messages written in them. There are currently six of these in Clash Royale: "Thank You", "Welcome", "Wow", "Oops", "Well Played", "Good Game", and "Good Luck". These emotes are not flashy and do not come with sound effects.
- Regular Emotes: These emotes comprise an in-game character, effects, background music, and animations. Regular emotes are easier to obtain than exclusive emotes.
- Exclusive Emotes: These emotes are similar to Regular emotes but with more exaggerated animations and sound effects. These emotes are available for a short duration, after which they cannot be unlocked.

Ways to get emotes in Clash Royale
There are a few main ways of obtaining emotes:
- Upon starting the game, players are given 10 emotes, six of which are Speech Bubble Emotes mentioned above while the other four feature the King.
- Special offers often contain exclusive and regular emotes. These offers can only be purchased with real money.
- The in-game shop also features three regular emotes, which cycle every day. Each emote costs 250 gems. Moreover, the season shop also contains emotes, which can be purchased from Season Tokens.
- Exclusive event-based challenges often reward exclusive emotes after a certain amount of victories.
- Certain emotes can be unlocked exclusively from Trophy Road and Goblin Queen's Journey.
- Exclusive emotes can also be acquired from certain Gold Pass and Diamond Pass rewards.
- There are tasks outside of the game that also reward emotes. For instance, during the initial launch of Squad Busters, players who logged into it got an exclusive emote.
Other details
To use emotes in battle, players must select the speech bubble. It is located in the bottom left corner. Additionally, If you feel like the opponent is spamming emotes, or want a quiet battle, you can mute the emotes indefinitely from the same speech bubble.
