Easter Eggs in games usually come in various shapes or forms and Escape from Tarkov is not an exception. The title features several items based on real-life equipment such as weapons, tactical bags, cases, containers, and more. Most of these Easter Eggs are unique and can be found on various maps or gears. While some are in plain sight, others can be hard to find.

With that being said, we will delve into Escape from Tarkov and list seven Easter Eggs that players might have missed while playing the game.

At the top of this list is the Red Rebel ice pick that you can get from various sources in Escape from Tarkov. The item is quite handy and can be used in scenarios such as extracting from various maps. Maps like Lighthouse, Shoreline, and Reserve have an extract point that players can use to get out of the map safely by having the ice pick equipped on their PMC character and a Paracord. However, if you wear armor, you can't extract. For that reason, an armored right is ideal.

The Red Rebel ice pick is based on the popular adventure game franchise, Tomb Raider, where the protagonist Lara Croft uses it throughout the franchise.

2) Bomber Beanie

Another Escape from Tarkov Easter Egg you might have missed is the Bomber Beanie. While it is not useful in most scenarios, it can be used as a vanity item to add a stylish touch to your character. The unique design of this item, the iconic black color and two white stripes, goes well with various cosmetic items in the game.

The Bomber Beanie is based on Edd’s beanie from the 90s animated show, Ed, Edd n Eddy. Throughout the six seasons of the show, Edd can be seen rocking the same beanie, which is quite a nice addition to the game.

Since most things in Escape from Tarkov are based on real-life items, you can see a PlayStation console in the Hideout. The console can be seen on the table near the TV on Rest Space. In addition to the console, a PlayStation 4 controller can also be seen on the couch near the same area.

Apart from the console and peripherals, a game can also be seen on the table —Call of Call, a spinoff of the popular FPS title, Call of Duty.

4) An iPhone 7 Plus in the Cyre Precision plate carrier (Goons Edition)

As most players know, the Goons squad is one of the most deadly bosses in the game. The Cyre Precision plate carrier worn by one of the bosses, Knight, also known as Death Knight, features a small mirrored version of the iPhone 7 Plus tucked inside a magazine pouch.

To acquire this item, players must find and eliminate Knight. Currently, they have a 20% chance of spawning in each raid on the maps they can go to, such as Lighthouse, Shoreline, and Customs. While this might be a small detail, finding and hunting down the Goons squad is the main challenge.

5) Graffiti and scribblings on Customs dormitory

Apart from all the in-game items from different game franchises, there are a couple of Easter Eggs on Customs that can easily be missed. In the three-story dorm, players can see graffiti on the wall, saying: "Sorry Mario, the princess is in another castle." Since the dormitory is quite dark, this graffiti can be easily missed. For those who don't know, this line is from Toad in one of the Mario games right before the final battle against the title's main antagonist, Bowser.

Additionally, in the three-story dorm, players can see some writings: Metalika, Ramstain, and Limpin Kar. These are the spin-off names of some popular music bands. Metalika is based on Metalicca, Ramstain is Rammstein, and Limpin Kar is Linkin Park.

6) The Viibiin sneaker

Battlestate Games keeps adding more streamer items to the game as a token of appreciation to the dedicated players/content creators. The Viibiin sneaker, a newly added streamer item, is based on one of Nike’s popular shoes, Hyperdunk X.

Apart from the model, the Viibiin sneaker looks identical, color-wise, to the actual Nike Hyperdrunk X Basketball shoe, which was a fan favorite in 2008.

Those who have played and are familiar with Valve’s Half-Life series will immediately understand this reference.
