Format and Prize pool
Orgs can select as many titles as they want to compete in, which will then automatically register them for the cross-game competitive event.
Called the Club Championship, this cross-game competitive event will grant a whopping sum of $20 million to the top 16 clubs. After eight weeks, the club that performed exceptionally well in all titles they opted for, will be given the title of world’s first Esports World Cup Club Champion.
While a $20 million sum is going into the Club Championship, the remainder is going into three categories. The Game Championships, MVP awards, and Qualifiers will consume the rest of the $40 million prize pool.
The Game Championships will have a prize pool of around $33 million. The MVPs will also be getting a $50,000 prize for their outstanding performance.
Before the main event begins, the competing teams who participate in the qualifier events will be awarded a prize of $7 million.
