Lisa is a Librarian for the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt and spends most of her day bookkeeping in the library. When it comes to her job, she is a stickler for rules and insists on all books being returned to the library punctually. Although belonging to Mondstadt, Lisa completed her education at the Akademiya in Sumeru, where she was held in high regard as a very knowledgeable and talented mage. In fact, she is still renowned in the Sumeru Akademiya as "the most distinguished graduate in the past two centuries."

Lisa has a laid-back personality and attitude, although she is certainly capable of stepping up to the task as and when needed. She treats the Traveler quite nicely, and it is apparent that she is very fond of them. Lisa loves her tea and places a great deal of importance on ensuring that she never misses out on an afternoon cuppa. She is good friends with Jean, the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt.

Genshin Impact Lisa: Kit and playstyle

Although Lisa is a free character, she can very much be played as a DPS if built properly. With high constellations and a good weapon, Lisa can be used as an AoE Electro DPS character in quite a few teams even years after the game's launch. Here is a brief overview of her kit:

Elemental Skill

Lisa's Elemental Skill can be used in two ways, either by pressing or holding it. Pressing her Elemental Skill releases a homing Lightning Orb, which deals Electro DMG on coming in contact with enemies. Holding her Elemental Skill deals AoE Electro DMG to all enemies within a limited area. Both the hold and press versions of her Elemental Skill can be used accordingly depending on the number and type of enemies.

Elemental Burst

Lisa's Elemental Burst summons a Lightning Rose that deals AoE Electro DMG to enemies in the vicinity at fixed intervals over a period of 15 seconds. This makes her Elemental Burst a great source for triggering different Elemental Reactions such as Overload, Hyperbloom, Quicken, Aggravate, Electro-Charged, etc.

Lisa's Elemental Burst is a great off-field source of Electro DMG, which means she can be added to any party that needs off-field Electro support.

If you have Lisa at the C6 Constellation level, consider building her as an Electro DPS. To maximize her personal damage, she will need weapons and artifacts that boost her own damage output. You can use the following weapons and artifact sets to build Lisa as a DPS character:

  • Weapon: Kagura's Verity, The Widsith, Skyward Atlas, Sacrificial Jade
  • Artifact set: 4-piece Thundering Fury (ATK% Sands, Electro DMG Bonus Goblet, Crit Rate/Crit DMG Circlet

For Talent priority, focus on leveling up her Elemental Burst first, followed by her Elemental Skill. Leveling up her Normal Attack is not necessary.
