KPL Dream Team dominated LDG Gaming in the grand final of the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason during EWC 2024 Week 5. They were the favorites coming into the tournament and delivered as per expectations.

The squad consisted of the best players from the Kings Pro League. They went undefeated in the group stage, taking down Loops, BOOM Esports, Gaming MY, All Gamers Global, and Team Falcons.

KPL defeated Impunity in the quarterfinal and All Gamers Global in the semifinal. They did not drop a single game throughout the tournament. Xu "YiNuo" Bicheng was declared the MVP, thanks to his contribution to KPL's flawless run.

Esports World Cup: Rainbow Six

Team BDS won the Rainbow Six trophy at EWC 2024, defeating w7m. They did so without dropping a single map in the grand final. This is the third consecutive tournament where they have emerged victorious.

Team BDS took down Team Cruelty and w7m in the qualifiers stage. They won 2-1 against FaZe Clan in the quarterfinal and Team Furia in the semifinal.

Team BDS was dominant in the final series. The game went to Clubhouse, Consulate, and ended in Oregon. Josh “Yuzus” Pritchard walked away from EWC 2024 Week 5 with the Rainbow Six Playstation MVP title.

EWC: Apex Legends

Alliance outlasted 40 other teams competing at the first Esports World Cup: Apex Legends to emerge victorious. The grand final was the longest in Apex Legends esports history. Moreover, Alliance is the first team from EMEA to win a LAN championship.

After soaring through the qualification stage, Alliance entered the grand final hoping to win the tournament. The final game was grueling, with back-to-back games played over seven hours.

The level of competition and the intensity of the match made it one of the biggest highlights of EWC 2024 Week 5.
