CS2 has taken another hit as players discover more potential game-breaking bugs. @villeeCS published on X to unveil a glitch that allows players to see through walls. The wallhack was easy to execute and could ruin games in one fell swoop. Soon enough, popular CS2 source Ozzny shared the video on their page garnering thousands of views in hours.
CS2 player, @sekoidd reacted to the clip in utter disdain. They seemed unaffected by the bug since such issues are becoming pretty common. They said:
"F**k it just keep it, game is f****d anyway."

The glitch was difficult to work around. If a player spots you through walls, an entire team setup could be ruined. @meowtow was convinced that the game was just too bad and Valve needed to fix it immediately. They also requested the developer to change the CS2 sub-tick system.
Meanwhile, @dea_bb announced that the glitch was older than two months. This could be the first time it's being brought to light through a popular source. The user mentioned:
"2 months old naur."
Meanwhile, @ThatHartleyKat believed that this clip could be showing a fake glitch. The user had their doubts as they said:
"Command or fake ( i will not abuse this, i will also let other people know so they can avoid abusing it)."
Finally, @bunnyhug8 seemed pretty familiar with the bug already. However, the player was clearly in the dark about it allowing literal wall-hacks in the game. Instead, they were sure it was for a fake plant animation.
Why does CS2 have so many bugs?
There is no concrete answer to the question. The title came out in September 2023. However, it has had a predecessor to build upon and the new game hasn't changed too drastically. Most of the current maps are the same as the older game, player models are just about unchanged, and the mechanics haven't seen major changes either. These are not the changes you would expect from a completely new game.
However, the game was built on a Source 2 engine, which means the code underwent a lot of changes. Many believe that Valve should have taken more time before releasing the new iteration of the title.
CS:GO was beloved but it wasn't without its issues. Problems like hackers, anti-cheat, and glitches were common to the older title too. However, for the new one, all the issues seem amplified. Perhaps, Valve needs more time before the game can be perfected. In the meantime, the existing wallhack bug has yet to be addressed by the devs.
