CS2 added multiple workshop maps to the game's map rotation in a recent patch. One of these was Pool Day, a map intended for the Arms Race mode. The map is rather small and fitting for the specific mode but an interesting Easter egg in the map will take players back to the good old days of Counter-Strike 1.6. The Easter egg is in the form of a secret lever hidden inside one of the lockers on the map that will take players to the CS 1.6 version of Pool Day when activated.
Popular leaker, @Ozzny_CS2 took to their X page to post a clip from Counter Strike 2 showing how the Easter egg works.
One CS2 fan, @zhngzhngyf84940 was thrilled to see the clip and was clearly happy about a new update finally coming through from Valve. They said:

"we make the update guys.ohhhhh"
And they weren't the only user to feel this way. Another user @CS2_preview also appreciated the Easter egg in CS2:
"this is pretty cool"
In the meantime, user @MensInspiratio may have been caught a bit off-guard at first. They believed that the new feature was actually a bug. This is an easy mistake to make given the serious nature of most maps that do not feature any functional Easter eggs.
While some players were amused, others like @ElectricRR were left confused about the update. Rumors and leaks regarding the game's first operation were ripe before the new maps were released. Leakers such as Ozzny and GabeFollower uploaded hints about new maps, keychains in CS2, and even a potential new case. However, not all of it came to fruition.
Valve did add new maps to the game in the update, however, the content suggested by the rest of the leaks is most likely not going to arrive. @ElectricRR seemed confused about the release of the other leaked cosmetics.
Yet another fan, @_raspadsistema_ was upset about the rumors not coming true. They sarcastically pointed out how there was no new operation in Counter-Strike 2 still:
"Nice operation did you finish first mission?"
All new maps released in the CS2 update
Valve has released multiple maps for different modes in the new update. Maps like Memnto and Assembly joined the 2v2 Wingman mode while Pool Day is available for Arms Race, but these small maps were not the only ones added.
Thera and Mills were also brought to the game and these maps are meant for Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch modes. While the update is still massive, it is not a new operation and not as large as many expected, which has reasonably left some players frustrated.
