Although the beach is littered with gathering points offering various shells — like the Round blue shell, Yellow striped shell, White star shell, and Jet black shell — none of these meet the girl's standards. Instead, you’ll need to locate a specific shell hidden in a unique spot. Here's how to find it:

1. Head to the small alcove: Go to the area to the right of the beach, near where you helped Tan fend off bandits.
2. Move the barrel: In this corner, a barrel will be blocking your way. Push it out of your way to reveal a secret area.
3. Collect the Iridescent shell S: Search the newly revealed area to get the Iridescent Shell S, the shiny and pretty shell that the girl is looking for.
