How to farm Macca in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance

Macca in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance is an in-game currency that players will come across. It is a necessary resource to buy several objects in the game, particularly from Gustave. It also proves essential when trying to summon demons from the Compendium. Occasionally, certain demons would also request Macca during interactions. As such, discussions may come to an end with that demon if you are unable to provide them the Macca they demand.

In this article, we will look at some methods you can try to get Macca quickly in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance.

Some of the farming methods for Macca in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance are as follows:

1) Target farming Saki Mitama

The yellow/golden tinted variations of the Mitamas in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance are dubbed Saki Mitama. They will either be encountered in the open world or when interacting with sites of interest via the Quest Navigators. They can also be target-farmed after having increased their spawn count if you own the DLC.

The items dropped from Saki Mitamas are:

Cloth Mask worth 800 Macca
Simple Undershirt worth 2500 Macca
Mouse Mummy worth 4000 Macca

These items can be sold to Gustave to farm Macca in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance. An important point to keep in mind while farming Mitamas is that they will have randomized weaknesses, which can be dealt with by having a large stock of Spyglass.

2) Farming Treasure boxes

Numerous treasure boxes that are yellow and prism-shaped can be found in each area of Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance's overworld. When hit, these treasure boxes will drop the items inside. Macca is one such precious item that treasure boxes can drop. A point to note is the probability of getting Demon essences is higher than getting Macca drops.

3) Interacting with Points of Interest

Your Quest Navigator, who is an overworld entity that you can recruit temporarily, will direct you to various points of interest while you explore the world of Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance. You can usually obtain useful items like Incense, Grimoires, Macca, Balms, and more by interacting with these points. Sometimes an adversary may ambush you, which may turn out to be a Saki Mitama and aid you in farming Macca in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance.

You will often come across rusty old vending machines, which still seem operational, as you explore the overworld of Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance. Soda cans, soup cans, game consoles, and so on are among the Relics of the Old World that you can obtain after interacting with them.

These relic items can be sold to Gustave at Cadaver's Hollow in exchange for Macca. The more precious Relics can be found in the later stages of the game. Please note that these vending machines also restock over time, implying that you can return to them to obtain additional Relics to farm Macca in Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance.
