This means with every crit there is a potential chance for the character to produce additional Elemental Particles. For this reason when you run this weapon you’ll want a decent amount of crit in order to improve your chances of activating it (This is guaranteed at R5).
Who uses Favonius Sword well?
Bennett, Jean and Kaeya are a few who greatly enjoy the large amounts of Energy Recharge that Favonius Sword brings. They will typically want some offensive stats already considering how their abilities can reach some respectable levels of damage when properly invested into damage, which helps in activating Favonius Sword’s Windfall passive.
Final Thoughts
Favonius Sword is a solid supportive option for Sword using characters. While it may index too greatly into supportive capabilities for some characters, it still excels at its central job pretty well and very few will outperform it in its function as a particle generator. Being able to generate particles for any character is a strong source of utility.
