Only a few players have completed 'Alien: Isolation'

Creative Assembly’s first-person shooter Alien: Isolation released just a few months ago and only a few players have been able to complete the game since. Based on the popular Alien film franchise, Alien: Isolation is a survival shooter title that is less about gunning things down and more about actual survival. The game may have proved too difficult for most players which is probably why many have not finished the whole game.

According to a recent report by PSMania, only a minor 15.4 percent of the players have actually completed the game on PlayStation4. They played through the whole of Alien: Isolation and earned the trophy ‘Ripley, Signing Off’ for doing so. The trophy also shows the percentage of players who have completed the game.

This percentage only indicates the number of people who have completed the game on PS4, so this could be higher if other systems were taken into account. But considering the game has sold over a million copies worldwide, 15% would mean that only 150,000 players have actually completed the game, which is still a pretty small number.

Also, the difficulty setting has not been taken into account, so the number of players who have completed the game on Hard mode is probably even lower. Either way, it definitely does not seem to be an easy game.

Alien: Isolation is available now for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The game is set 15 years after the events of Alien and follows character Amanda Ripley who is investigating the disappearance of her mother Ellen Ripley.
