What's the story?
FIFA Mobile is one of the most popular football games that can be played on the go, and its unique rating system continues to confound us all. However, the rating might be spot-on this time around with two of the three fastest players in the Premier League featuring Liverpool's lightning quick duo of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
That said, another man joining the African duo is a big surprise and an even bigger surprise is the fact that he is ahead of Mane and Salah in the latest FIFA Mobile ratings. New Red Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is top of the pile in the Premier League as far as pace is concerned, ahead of both his seemingly faster new teammates.

In case you didn't know...
FIFA Mobile ratings at Futhead.com offer an insight into the mobile version of FIFA 17. The frequent change in player rating incorporates the players' actual performances on the pitch and accordingly, they get a boost or a downgrade.
The heart of the matter
Premier League fans and watchers would argue that Oxlade-Chamberlain barely deserves his top standing in the pace leaderboard of FIFA Mobile, given there seem to be faster players than him operating in England's top division. The likes of his former Arsenal teammate Hector Bellerin, Marcus Rashford and Jamie Vardy are noticeably quicker players, but Oxlade-Chamberlain is the one who has the last laugh.
The former Southampton man clocks a pace rating of 111, higher than Mane and Salah's 110. Chelsea's Eden Hazard ranks fourth with a pace rating of 110 - similar to Mane, Salah - while Raheem Sterling completes the top five.
FIFA Mobile ratings should be taken with a pinch of salt as they are not accurate reflections of football in reality. They, nevertheless, provide room for a footballing debate.
What's next?
FIFA Mobile rolled out last year after FIFA 17 was released and with the much-awaited launch of FIFA 18 only 25 days away, the next edition of FIFA Mobile is also expected to be published later this year.
Author's take
Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, and Mane complete a Liverpool domination in FIFA Mobile's fastest players category but most fans would disagree with it. Oxlade-Chamberlain has shown in the past what he can do with his bursts of pace, but having him as the fastest Premier League player in FIFA Mobile is something that not everyone would agree on.
