There is lots to look forward to when you get your hands on a FIFA game for casual gamers, hardcore gamers and pretty much any type you want to look at. The case is no different when it comes to the actual players playing with their virtual counterparts. And sometimes when they take each other on, it makes for hilarious viewing.
Something along those lines took place as David De Gea, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly and Phil Jones battled it out in FIFA 18 instead of the training ground for a change. After this particular match, one thing is for sure, scoring against David De Gea really is impossible.
The gaming bout saw Mkhitaryan and De Gea in one team and Bailly and Jones on the other. Try as they might, the centre-back pairing of United could not get past their goalkeeper and in the dying seconds of the game, the duo of Mkhitaryan and De Gea managed to score the winning goal with a screamer from Marouane Fellaini.
The game itself may have lacked the cutting edge but the post-match interview between Bailly and Jones showed that the defenders were willing to laugh off the defeat and prepare for some real competition as the Red Devils take on Newcastle United this weekend.
EA Sports continues to showcase its vivid clips of footballers playing FIFA 18 and one can be sure to expect something like this again sometime soon in the near future. The game really does bind teams together and this is a classic example of just that. Let's hope more such entertaining videos are on the horizon soon!
