The FIFA 18 TOTS is officially out there and there is no doubt that eleven of the Premier League's most talented players this season have made their way onto the elite list. Having said that, however, there continue to be some question marks over some absentees from the best team from this Premier League campaign.
In a season where the winner has been clear for quite some time, individual performances have come to the fore and have left us with memories to last a lifetime.
There have been some truly eye-catching prospects all through this season and it's true that not everyone can be included, but some players are probably more unlucky than others to see themselves miss out.
This takes nothing away from their overall performances in the season, however, and if nothing else, it should motivate them to play even better next season. So here are five players who were perhaps unlucky to miss out on TOTS:

#5 Ederson
While there is no doubt that this position has been David De Gea's for a while now, Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has been nothing short of sensational in his breakthrough season at the Etihad.
Brought in after Claudio Bravo's hapless keeping, the Brazilian has taken to the Premier League like a fish to water and continues to get better.
The race for the golden glove isn't over just yet and after guiding City to a monumental triumph, Ederson should perhaps consider himself hard done by when it comes to the team of the season. Few would argue that the future of City in goal seems bright.
#4 Davinson Sanchez
Here's one name not many would have considered. Davinson Sanchez has been quite unbelievable in his first Premier League season for Tottenham Hotspur and it's come at a good time for the North London club too.
An injury to regular center back Toby Alderweireld meant that a void was starting to form in the Spurs defence but thanks to Sanchez, all fears have been put to rest.
His form has been so magnificent that Alderweireld hasn't been able to break into the team even since returning from injury.
With his center back partner Jan Vertonghen making TOTS, this Colombian should be slightly annoyed with the decision to be left out following a scintillating campaign.
#3 Raheem Sterling
One of the most eye-catching players this season in the Premier League has to be Raheem Sterling and it's somewhat surprising that the winger hasn't found a place in TOTS.
The Englishman has matured leaps and bounds under Pep Guardiola and his match-winning performances this season have propelled the Sky Blues to the very top of the English top flight.
Often criticised for being wasteful, Sterling has taken most of his opportunities in front of goal this time around along with creating many others for his teammates making him a surprising exclusion from the best team of the season.
#2 Leroy Sane
Sticking with Man City, winger Leroy Sane has had perhaps the best season of his entire career this time around and at a very young age, the German has managed to cement his place in a hugely talented City setup.
His 15 goals and as many assists this season are quite astonishing for a player who many considered would struggle with the pace of the Premier League.
A Guardiola darling, Sane has impressed one and all with his quality on the ball to add to his tremendous pace and obvious technical ability.
With the World Cup coming soon, he could be one of the players to watch out for in a ruthless German line up. TOTS just doesn't quite feel the same without the inclusion of Leroy Sane.
#1 Romelu Lukaku
For long now Manchester United have craved a big, strong center forward to instill fear in the opposition defence and make the most out of aerial duels in the penalty box. Lo and behold, Romelu Lukaku.
It's true that the Belgian has blown hot and cold at times this season but there is no doubting the sheer talent that this brute of a striker possesses.
Often isolated up top, Lukaku has had to bear the brunt of most of United's lack of goal scoring form this season which at times has been pretty harsh on a player who gives his 100% in every single game.
The highest scorer for the Reds this season by a country mile, Lukaku's exclusion from TOTS may have been surprising but not necessarily shocking.
Having said that, his renaissance in the second half of the season alone perhaps deserved a spot on the best Premier League team as per FIFA 18.
