If Jose Mourinho was still in charge of Manchester United, this article might have not been written at all. None of the United players were playing well and not a single one of them would have got an upgrade with the rating refresh happens in February.
Fortunately for United and the players, Ole Gunnar Solskjær taking over has helped them get back to form. The United legend has brought out the best in the players and it looks like they are on course to regain their top form.
Thanks to Solskjær, United players are now in contention to get an upgrade in their ratings next month. Here are the 3 Manchester United who are very likely to get an upgrade:

#3 – Marcus Rashford
Before we begin, let's just remind ourselves that Rashford is only 21-years-old. The forward has been playing for nearly four years now and has played under three United managers – Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho and now, Solskjær.
Many might say that he has been highly inconsistent but Rashford is probably the only player at United who has given it his all in every game he has played. The forward is back to goal-scoring form now and will now be the United player to get the biggest upgrade in the rating refresh.
EA, somehow, have rated him at just 81 in FIFA 19 and how they landed at a rating so low will forever remain a mystery. He did get an increase by 2 from his FIFA 18 stats but still, 81 is just too low for a player of his quality.
Rashford deserves at least 83 and EA should be pushing him to that rating. He has a FUTMAS and IF card at 84 in FIFA 19, and it won't be a surprise if EA decides to have that his base card rating as well.

#2 – Anthony Martial
What a turnaround it has been for Anthony Martial. The Frenchman was on the verge of leaving the club when Jose Mourinho was in charge but now, with the Portuguese manager gone, he is set to sign a new contract!
The winger has been enjoying his role on the left-wing and has made that role his own. With Marcus Rashford now playing as a striker, and his defensive duties cut short, he has more freedom to run at defenders and try more things without bothering about the counter-attack.
As he is already rated at 83, Martial might not get a huge upgrade like Rashford. The Frenchman might just get a +1 in his overall rating and unless he puts in some stand out performances by the end of this season, 84 might just be his rating in FIFA 20 as well.

#1 – Luke Shaw
Luke Shaw has had a topsy-turvy time at Manchester United. The left-back started off with a bang but that brutal leg injury slowed his pace and progress. He has not been at his best ever since but is slowly getting closer to it.
The English full-back has done just about enough to get an upgrade with the winter rating refresh. He has been solid at the back and has provided enough support in attack as well.
Rated at just 78 in the game, the left-back has shown that his on-field performances are way better than what the FIFA 19 ratings depict. While he is not going to get a huge upgrade, he too is expected to a +1 boost like Martial or a maximum of +2 – nothing more. Not giving him a rating boost will be a bad thing as he has done well this season.
