Goalkeepers are the ones who spend the least time on the ball but it's their contribution in the fraction of a second that matters a lot. The Premier League goalkeepers are the most sought-after ones in FIFA 19 but a few of them are set for a downgrade.
So, if you are planning to get any of these goalkeepers in your squad, get them quickly before their price goes up. The winter rating refresh takes place in the 3rd week of February.
Here are the five Premier League goalkeepers who will get a downgrade:
#5 – Tom Heaton
Burnley easily have the set of the most out-of-form keepers in the Premier League this season. Both Joe Hart and Tom Heaton have not managed to impress and both are now set to get a downgrade.

Both of them have failed to keep clean sheets and the Turf Moor side are suffering in the league because of it. Heaton's return to the XI was welcomed by the Burnley faithful who had lost hope in Joe Hart.
However, the 80-rated goalkeeper in FIFA 19, has failed to do much. He has been woeful is a lot of matches but was splendid in the game vs Manchester United. EA might push him down to 79.
#4 – Joe Hart
Burnley fans were relieved to see Tom Heaton back in the starting XI after Joe Hart's poor display in between the posts. But things have not gotten any better as The Clarets still continue to struggle to keep clean sheets.
Hart, who is rated at 78 in FIFA 19, is set to continue his downfall in ratings. The former Manchester City man is in line to get a downgrade of -1 in the game but it's bound to go unnoticed as not many use him other than for SBCs.
#3 – Sergio Rico
Sergio Rico was signed with a lot of expectations from Sevilla in the summer by Fulham but has disappointed big time. The London side might be relieved right now that the move was only a loan deal and not a permanent one.
The Spaniard has started in 15 games so far but has managed to keep just 2 clean sheets! Fulham's defence has not helped in any way and they have actually scored own-goals as well – they lost a game to Burnley because of an own goal.
With the Spaniard rated at 80 and him not doing much to justify his rating, EA are likely to push him down to 78. His reflex and positioning stats are set to come down from 81 and 80 to 75 and 77 respectively but then again, it will go unnoticed as not many use him.
#2 – Jordan Pickford
The issue with Jordan Pickford is not about clean sheets but his mistakes. The number of mistakes he makes while taking unwanted risks have cost Everton big time. The matches against Liverpool and Tottenham remain as the best examples.
Rated at 83, it would be a surprise if EA do not reduce his stats and bring him down to 82.
#1 – Hugo Lloris
Hugo Lloris has a similar issue. The Spurs man has just not managed to make those decisive saves and has been rescued by the side's attack. Lloris wouldn't have been on this list if he was rated at 86 like Ederson or 85 like Alisson.
But with a rating of 88, he has to be on top of his form to remain at the same rating. It's expected that he too will be given a push down of 1 to 87 unless he improves in the next few match days.
