Fishing Gear in Escape from Tarkov is the first task players get from Peacekeeper. The quest can be unlocked by the players after they complete Friend From the West Part 2 where they have to turn in 5,000 Dollars to Skier to complete the task. Additionally, this task introduces Shoreline to the players as it is also the first task players acquire that requires them to go to the location.

The objectives you need to do to complete Fishing Gear in Escape from Tarkov are:

• Find out where the boat hidden right next to the breakwater is on Shoreline
• Stash/hide the SV-98 sniper rifle in the boat
• Stash/hide the Leatherman Multitool in the same boat
• Survive and extract from Shoreline

If you are familiar with Shoreline, finding the boat will be easy, especially if you spawn near the seashore. When you spawn, go to the Pier and find your way to the seashore, where you will see a small wooden boat near the second concrete slab.

After finding the boat, you will be able to stash/hide the items required for the task. Therefore, before loading into the map, make sure you have both. Additionally, you can place the Leatherman Multitool in your special gadgets slot to make sure it doesn't get lost, even after you die. Go near/on top of the boat, where you need to press and hold your interact button for a whopping 30 seconds. When you’re done stashing the first item, start stashing the second item as well.

Make sure to press "tab" once after stashing the first item, as the stash prompt will not appear, and you won’t be able to stash the second item. When you are done stashing both items, make your way to any of the available extraction locations and get out of the map.
