Forza Horizon 2 DLC to be released only for Xbox One

Forza Horizon 2 DLC will not be coming for Xbox 360

Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 2 will receive the first monthly DLC pack named ‘Mobil 1 Car Pack‘ only for Xbox One edition and not for Xbox 360 edition. On their official forum, Turn 10’s Brian Ekberg mentioned that the DLC will be available only for Xbox One edition. He said:

We are currently planning to release DLC only for the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2. Also, Forza Rewards benefits are only available in the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2. This means that Xbox 360 players will not receive Forza Rewards credits or cars. In addition, progress in the 360 version of Forza Horizon 2 does not count towards your Forza Rewards Tier Level score. Only progress in the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2 will count towards your overall Forza Score (and Tier Level) in Forza Rewards.

Not only the DLC, the Xbox 360 users will also won’t receive the Forza Rewards Credits or cars. The new cars will be released on the monthly basis and can be utilized only by Xbox One users.

The game was released for both the Xbox versions on the same day, but this announcment have made the fans disappointed as they were not informed about these before itself.
