Build Logistics Districts
One of the best ways to get more Frostland Teams in Frostpunk 2 is to build Logistics Districts. Look for Old Waystations on your map and build as many Logistics Districts as possible. You can then expand the District, before researching Logistics Bays and placing new buildings in it. These will lead to an immediate increase in Frostland Teams in Frostpunk 2.
After expanding your Logistics District, your base team will ramp up to 15 members. You also have the provision to place two Logistics Bays in your District.
Logistics Bays offers you two options — Automated Logistics Bays and Vanguard Logistics Bays. Both Bays offer you a different number of Frostland Teams and require distinct amounts of resources:
Automated Logistics Bays use machines to create resources and equipment, ensuring reduced Workforce and Storage needs. Building this bay will reward you with 10 Frostland Teams in Frostpunk 2. To build an Automated Logistics Bays, you will need:
- 500 Workforce
- 50 Heatstamps (construction)
- 120 Heastamps (Building)
- 15 Weeks
Vanguard Logistics Bays are focused on training and survival gear, relying on the human nature of scouting and exploring areas. These Bays require more Workforce to be built but reward you with 15 Frostland Teams in Frostpunk 2. To build a Vanguard Logistics Bays, you will need:
- 500 Workforce
- 50 Heatstamps (construction)
- 120 Heastamps (Building)
- 15 Weeks
Once you expand and place these buildings, you will have a maximum of 45 Frostland Teams in each District. You can send them out to do Frostland Explorations which are major catalysts for growing your City.

Reduce the required Frostland Teams to free up more
Another way to conserve your Frostland Teams in Frostpunk 2 and have more scouts for missions is by reducing the Exploration cost. Reducing the Exploration cost requires fewer Frostland Teams per mission, allowing you to allocate the free Teams to other areas for scouting.
Here's how you can reduce the required Frostland Teams.
Scout Training
Scout training is a great way to improve Frostland Teams, greatly enhancing their efficiency and allowing for a lesser number of scouts to complete an exploration.
You have the choice of two types of Scout training — Pathfinder Scouts and Mechanised Scouts. Pathfinder Scouts optimize your Frostland Teams so that it requires less number of Teams to complete an Exploration while the Mechanised Scouts reduce the time taken to complete one.
The Pathfinder Scout is great if you wish to have more Frostland Teams available in hand while the Mechanised Scouts will complete your Explorations faster and free up your scouts in significantly reduced time. Once you have selected Scout Training, it opens the way for the next way to reduce the required number of Frostland Teams in Frostpunk 2 - Scout Headquarters.

Scout Headquarters
Scout Headquarters is a great way to reduce the Exploration cost and free up more Frostland Teams in Frostpunk 2. You can choose between the Survivalists’ Headquarters and the Surveyors’ Headquarters. Both Headquarters require 200 Heatstamps and 33 weeks to develop and an additional 120 Heatstamps to construct and finish.
The Survivalists’ Headquarters offers a significant reduction in Exploration cost while ensuring a moderate increase in speed. It is great if you wish to spend less Frostland Teams per mission and allocate them elsewhere.
The Surveyor's Headquarters offers you a reduction in both Exploration cost and speed but both are moderately reduced and do not have a significant impact on either. The Survivalists’ Headquarters is recommended if you want more Frostland Teams.
