Capcom is confirmed to be there at this year's Gamescom event. What's exciting is that they recently invited hardcore Resident Evil fans to playtest an unannounced game sometime in September.

The above info was leaked by a Resident Evil website called Biohaze and one can find all the information regarding it there. The Resent Evil 2 Remake, as well as Resident Evil 7, sold exceptionally well and there's no doubt Capcom is hard at work on both of them.

What will be exciting to see is which one of the two Capcom decides to release first. It was also rumored that Resident Evil 8 will serve as the launch title for the next generation of consoles. So it's likely that we will see Resident Evil 3 Remake first.

We might get one of these announcements at this year's Gamescom event.

The Last of Us Part 2 will be the biggest PS4 launch this generation. Even though Naughty Dog and Sony have been completely dark regarding the game's launch or existence since last year's E3 2018 showcase, the game's never-ending hype continues to rise.

Actor Troy Baker who plays the role of Joel in the original The Last of Us also confirmed in a recent interview that "fans are not ready" for this upcoming sequel.

With Death Stranding already confirmed to make an appearance, Sony might come with a surprise release date announcement for it's another big exclusive and steal the show
