#9 Robert Lewandowski (Poland)
FIFA 14 rating: 86
FIFA 14 rating: 87
He is followed up by his former team mate Robert Lewandowski who has now moved to bitter rivals Bayern Munich on a free transfer. The Polish striker was ranked at number 35 last time, but has jumped 16 spots to be ranked as FIFA 15’s 19th best player. He scored 20 goals for 20 goals in the Bundesliga last season and is just 26 years old now.
#8 Manuel Neuer (Germany)
FIFA 14 rating: 86
FIFA 15 rating: 90
This is one of the biggest jumps one would ever see. After impressing for Bayern over the years, Neuer also had a great time in the World Cup which his team won at the end. He was the joint highest rated goal keeper in FIFA 14, but now has made that top spot his own. He jumps from the 32nd spot to the 5th spot.
#7 Eden Hazard (Belgium)

FIFA 15 rating: 88
Hazard has made a huge leap as well. He has improved from a rating of 85 to a rating of 88 in FIFA 15 and has jumped from the 46th spot to the 10th spot because of his performances last season for Chelsea. He is also the game’s coveted UK cover star.
#6 Luis Suarez (Uruguay)

Suarez is now the 7th best player in FIFA 15. Last time he was the game’s 33rd best player. After dazzling us with his peformances for Liverpool last season, Suarez moved to Barcelona in the summer and waits for his ban to get over to kick start things in Spain.
#5 Thibaut Courtois (Belgium)

If you can displace Petr Cech to the number 1 spot at Chelsea, then you are certainly special. Courtois was amazing for Atletico Madrid last season and EA has rewarded him by making him the second best goalie in the game only behind Neuer. Courtois makes it to the top 50 for the first time.
#4 Diego Costa (Spain)
FIFA 14 rating: 83
FIFA 15 rating: 86
Costa is right now the toast of Chelsea. He made a terrific start in English top flight football by scoring 7 goals in his first four games and he looks set for more. He was rated 83 in FIFA 14 and has gained 3 rating points courtesy his performances for Atletico last season.

FIFA 15 rating: 86
Neymar’s move to European football has brought him instant recognition from EA as they have named in their top 50 list for the very first time. He sees an improvement of two rating points from FIFA 14 and considering how young he is, he could eventually even go on to top the entire list.
