Best strikers in PES 2015

After compiling the list of the top 10 players in the newly released game, we now analyse the best strikers in PES 2015. As observed earlier, a lot of these players are rated slightly better than what they were rated in FIFA 15. So have them in your team and watch the goals flow. Here’s the list:

#15 Mario Mandzukic (Atletico Madrid)

PES 2015 rating: 85

We start off with the man whom Atletico Madrid have picked to replace Diego Costa. The Croatian was rated 83 in FIFA 15, but is rated a tad higher at 85 in PES 2015. Last season he scored 26 goals for Bayern helping them to regain the Bundesliga crown and that haul was his best ever in a single season. The Spanish Champions would hope for the same from him and so should you in the virtual world.

#14 Didier Drogba (Chelsea)

PES 2015 rating: 86

At 36, this guy is still going to be lethal for you in the game. Not many would agree with the fact that Didier Drogba has been rated 86 in the game (81 in FIFA 15), but yes you read it right. He has returned back to Chelsea after a moderate season for Galatasaray last season where he scored 14 goals in 36 matches. You can get him for a very cheap price in the transfer market.

#13 Diego Costa (Chelsea)

FIFA 15 rating: 86

The man who is being billed as the next Drogba by the Chelsea faithful comes in next with a rating of 86. He capped off a wonderful season with Atletico Madrid as he won the league title and guided them to the Champions League final. He has also set the Premier League on fire ever since his arrival and he can prove to be a great buy for your side.

#12 Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)

PES 2015 rating: 87

Karim Benzema scored 24 goals in 52 matches for Real Madrid last season helping them win the Champions League title for a record 10^th time in their history. He formed a formidable partnership with Ronaldo and Bale up front and they shattered their opponents. He is rated 85 in FIFA 15, but receives an upgrade of two in Pro Evolution Soccer.

#11 Carlos Tevez (Juventus)

PES 2015 rating: 87

Carlos Tevez has made an electrifying start to the new season. He has been scoring regularly and has also earned a recall to the national side. The 30 year old won’t cost a lot when you compare his price with that of the others on this list. He scored 21 goals acorss all competitons last season and won the league with Juventus. He is rated 85 in FIFA 15.

#10 Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)

PES 2015 rating: 87

While the ratings have varied with FIFA 15 and PES 2015 for some players, a select few have retained the same on both games. One of them is Robert Lewandowski. He made a controversial switch from Borussia Dortmund to German Champions Bayern Munich this season after scoring 28 goals from 49 matches last term. You should look to make good use of his tall physical presence.

#9 Neymar (Barcelona)

PES 2015 rating: 88

Even though he plays on the left wing for both Brazil and Barcelona, this guy can have the same impact if played in the middle since he also has an alternate position as a striker in the game. So in Messi’s absence you can play him as your striker for the Catalan giants or you can even buy him in your side and put him up front. His first season in Europe was moderate as he scored 15 goals across all competitions, but he has made a great start so far in his second season.

#8 Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

An out and out striker, Sergio Aguero fetches you plenty of goals. He is rated 88 in the game, but was rated only 86 in FIFA 15 despite having a very good season where he won the Premier League title with Manchester City. He is just 26 years old and has a lot of years left at the top level, so if you can prize him away from the Etihad, then don’t miss out on that opportunity.

#7 Wayne Rooney (Manchester United)

PES 2015 rating: 88

Manchester United and England’s new captain Wayne Rooney comes in at number 7 with an impressive rating of 88. He is also listed as a creative playmaker in the game, so you can have no second thoughts about deploying him as a number 10. He scored 19 goals in 40 matches for United across all competitions last season.

#6 Radamel Falcao (Manchester United)

PES 2015 rating: 88

Another top striker from Manchester United follows suit. Radamel Falcao has finally landed in the Premier League. He is an out and out goal poacher and is rated 88 in the game. Interestingly, he was rated the same in FIFA 15 too. He made a shocking big money move to Monaco last season, but it looks like he will be with United in the years to come. He was plagued by injuries which restricted his appearances to just 17 last term where he was also forced to miss the showpiece event in Brazil.

#5 Luis Suarez (Barcelona)

PES 2015 rating: 89

Suarez would prove to be a great acquisition for any side wouldn’t he? And that is precisely why Barcelona have paid a hefty sum for the Uruguayan national after he found the back of the net 31 times in the Premier league for Liverpool the previous season. He has a remarkable technical ability and is also constantly praised for his work rate.

#4 Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain)

PES 2015 rating: 89

With a rating of 89, PSG’s hitman Edinson Cavani is ranked at number 4 on our list. He became one of the most feared strikers in world football after he amassed 38 goals in 43 matches for Napoli in the 2012-13 season which earned him a move to the French capital. But his stats dropped a bit since he was played wide. It should also be mentioned that he was rated 86 in FIFA 15.

#3 Robin Van Persie (Manchester United)

PES 2015 rating: 90

Robin Van Persie was rated 88 in FIFA 15, and some did feel that he was rated a bit more than what he should have actually got. But the makers of PES 2015 have gone a step ahead and have rated him in the 90’s. The 31 year old scored 12 times in United’s disastrous league campaign last season and played in just 21 matches due to injury.

#2 Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain)

PES 2015 rating: 93

Zlatan is the second best striker in PES 2015, just like how it was the case in FIFA 15. He was rated 90 in FIFA, but has an upgrade of 3 points in Pro Evolution Soccer. A technical ability rating of 100 is just astounding to say the least. He netted 41 times last season for PSG across all competitions.

#1 Lionel Messi (Barcelona)

PES 2015 rating: 95

Despite being rated a tad higher than in FIFA 15, Messi finds himself pushed to the second spot in the overall rankings behind Cristiano Ronaldo. But he is still the game’s best striker. The 27 year old has a speed rating of 97 and technical ability of 99. He scored 41 goals in 46 matches last season for his club.
