Superhot is an upcoming independent FPS game. This is being regarded as one of a kind game as the gameplay in this game is expected to be different from the usual FPS games. The game is not an ordinary one where you just have to shoot the highlighted enemies.

The major plus point in the gameplay remains the feature which allows the players to plan out their strategy to take out their enemies and during this course of time, the time remains stationary. This means that the time will progress in the game once the player starts moving. The game is set to release in June 2015.

#9 Homefront: The Revolution

After the release of Homefront, the studios announced the release of a sequel of the game titled, Homefront: The Revolution. The game is set in US 2029 and puts you in the shoes of Ethan Brady as he stages a resistance movement against the army of a reunified Korea in the city of Philadelphia.

While the predecessor failed to impress the critics, the sequel looks more promising and also seems to provide a satisfying gameplay. The game will feature an open world gameplay and the players have the freedom to roam around the city of Philadelphia. The game is ready to be released on PC, PS and Xbox One.

#8 Tom Clancy\'s Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy’s games have never been disappointing. Let it be any game of Tom Clancy, like the Splinter Cell series or the Ghost Recon, the games have proven to be totally addicitive and also had a good story along with a strong gameplay in the background. And now, the developers Ubisoft are back with another one of Tom Clancy’s creation “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Seige”.

The game is a FPS and is a sequel to the Rainbow Six: Patriots. The trailer of the game was revealed in the E3 conference and the game was met with widespread anticipation. Though we are still kept in the dark regarding more information on the game, all we can do is hope that the game does justice with our expectations.

#7 Killing Zone 2

Just when we thought that there are no more zombie-horror games in FPS, we heard the news about the release of the next installement of the Killing Floor. Killing Floor 2 is a direct sequel to 2005’s Killing Floor which was originally released as a playable game in the Unreal Tournament held in 2004.

The first game served as a perfect mixture of an intense story, great graphics and an awesome gameplay. And we hope that the successor won’t disappoint us. The events of the game take place in Europe, with more violent and gory atmosphere. The game is set to release in mid 2015.

#6 Evolve

Evolve is not your usual multiplayer game where you can ping your friends and start your co-op game. The game will task you to joing with your friends and hunt down a genetically evolved creatures who areon the loose. The actions which you take will define the course of the game.

In the game you can either play as the hunter or the predator. Also the game will categorise the hunters and the monsters, among which you can select one and play the game. This makes the game a little different from others and we expect it to deliver what the game is promising. The game is set to release on February 10, 2015.

#5 Dead Island 2

After the success of Dead Isand, the developers are now set to release the sequel of the game, named Dead Island 2. While the precious game was set in a fictional Papua New Guniea island, this game’s prime location is California. The events of the game are set months after the previous installment.

The game has promised to offer more brutal and gory fighting mode which is aiming to satisfy the players who thirst for blood. The release date of the game is still unreleased but the developers have confirmed that it will be released in 2015.

#4 Overwatch

When we desired to play something different from the present multiplayer games, Blizzard games announced the release of their next multiplayer online FPS game, Overwatch. The game was announced in the Blizzcon game fest of 2014 whose gameplay was focused more on the co-op gameplay where each player will have to use their unique abilites in order to win.

The game features squad-based combat with two opposing teams of six players each. With promising gameplay and fast paced combat mecahnics, we can just hope that it will no disappoint us.

#3 Star Wars: Battlefont

This is the third game in the Star Wars: Battlefont series. Very rarely we have witnessed the release of movie and game of the same series. The game is set to tie in with the next release of the Star Wars movie, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.

Both the predecessors were very good, in terms of the story and the gameplay. But after the end of the second game, no one expected another game in the series. #2 Battlefield: Hardline

It’s just the beginning of the year, but it looks like it’s early Christmas for the EA studios. They have two major games planned for this year. One being “Star Wars Battlefront” and the next is “Battlefield Hardline”. The Battlefield Hardline is the next installment in the Battlefield series. The game features a new gameplay which breaks the game from the so-called Battlefield series.

The game focuses on the modern day police and the crime world. It features somewhat of an open world scenario with a very strong gameplay. Along with a new background set up, the game also features fou new modes ,viz, Heist, Rescue, Hotwire Mode and Blood Money.

#1 Halo 5: Guardians

The most anticipated and much awaited game of the year is here. Since the announcement, Halo 5 has been much anticipated and is righ now on much hype. Last year, a compilation of all the Halo games were combined in to one set and was released as “Halo: The Master Chief Collection”. After finishing the Halo 3, most of the players thought that we won’t be seeing a new installment in the game. But they were proven wrong.

In this game, we see Master Chief going AWOL and is trying to cope with the events of Halo 4. And to coat with a layer of sugar, Master Chief is now being hunted by Agent Locke, who was previously featured in the series Halo Nightfall.
