Life is strange can be called the underdog in this list. This episodic game by Square Enix took everyone by surprise with its unique storytelling and immersive setting.
The gameplay of life is strange is on the light site but if we compare it to other episodic games, there is plenty to do here.You can interact with objects which create some fun puzzle to mess around with.
The main focus of the gameplay is to explore the environments and talking to NPC’s. The game follows a branching story and the decisions of the players affect how the story unfolds.

Bloodborne is a beautiful, highly satisfying and sometimes exhausting experience that takes you through an enormous land that is filled with madness and sorrow.
Developer FromSoftware made sure that this extremely challenging game doesn’t feel similar to the dark souls franchise, by adding enough changes in gameplay as well as other mechanics.
Bloodborne tests your skill as a gamer by pitting you against some of the hardest bosses in gaming. The only down sight was the fact that it also tests your patience with an extremely long loading duration.
#3 Fallout 4
This might be a controversial number to put Fallout 4 in.
The post-apocalyptic world that fallout 4 puts you in is filled with alluring details, an outstanding cast of characters and engaging gameplay elements. From the crafting to its freedom of exploration to its main storyline, Fallout 4 is able to meet and greet with all the hype that surrounded the game.
Though it still was not a perfect game. It was filled bugs both minor as well as major and also the main storyline involved a very predictable plot twist which is easy to guess from a mile.
#2 Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Metal Gear Solid V was almost a perfect game. It did everything perfectly right from the beginning, but it failed it end it all in a good note. The chapter 2 of this game was heavily criticized for being empty as well as repetitive.
Making the gamers do the same missions again but on a higher difficulty just to progress through the story was not a wise decision. Apart from that the game was a blast to play. It was beautiful to look at, immersive to play and engaging to follow.
The story of the game was supposed to answer the unanswered questions that have plagued the MGS fans for years, but the game ended up creating more questions. The game worked brilliantly on consoles as well as on the “master race”.
One of the best thing about this game was the freedom that it offers in doing almost everything. Each mission feels similar, but also different depending on how you play through it.
#1 Witcher 3:The Wild Hunt
Witcher 3 is hands down the best game of this year. It is arguably one of the best in recent times as well.
When you consider the vast open world that the game offers along with its immersive storytelling, supported by an excellent cast of characters, you will realize how Witcher 3 was able to do everything right. The story of the game was both emotional as well as engaging at the same time.
The gameplay elements provided enough freedom to the players to choose how they want to fight. All this would have been considered mediocre if the atmosphere of the game was not top notch, but that is not the case here.
The game is beautiful to look at and just outstanding to live in. Witcher 3 is the best game of 2015.
