As announced during the game's version 5.3 livestream, the upcoming content for the first half of 2025 will focus on the following:
- New tribe: Collective of Plenty
- Seven new playable characters
- New region: Nod-Krai
- New gameplay mode
1) Collective of Plenty
Collective of Plenty is the sixth and last tribe that will be released during the Natlan chapter, with the other five and their areas already present in-game. Iansan and Varesa are two known characters belonging to this tribe.
After Mavuika and Citlali's release in Genshin Impact 5.3, the last major map expansion for Natlan (which will introduce the Collective of Plenty area) is expected to be added soon.
2) New playable characters
The developers have teased seven new characters who will be introduced and made playable over the course of the next six months. While only the silhouettes of these characters have been revealed, discerning their identities has been pretty easy, as most of them have already appeared in the game. These include characters such as Iansan, Ifa, and Skirk. Another character who will presumably be named Dahlia (as disclosed via leaks) is also present in the lineup.

3) Nod-Krai
Nod-Krai is one of the new upcoming regions to be released in 2025. It is an autonomous zone in southern Snezhnaya, where people from various areas of Teyvat can be found. The region was first mentioned in-game by the NPC Liben earlier this year, during the Marvelous Merchandise event. From the looks of it, Nod-Krai might be the players' entry point into the nation of Snezhnaya.
4) New gameplay mode
As announced by the developers during the version 5.3 livestream, a new gameplay mode is set to arrive in the title. Not much was revealed about it, with the developers dropping some cryptic hints of it being a way to "unleash the players' creativity", along with players being able to invite friends to "solve puzzles, fight and compete".
