Genshin Impact 3.7 patch notes: New update, banners, events, features and more

Genshin Impact 3.7 is the newest patch in the hugely popular game, so let's look at some preview patch notes. HoYoverse has already revealed most of the official content scheduled to debut sometime in this patch. This article condenses the important parts of the maintenance preview and adds relevant details whenever necessary.

Maintenance began at 6:00 am (UTC+8) on May 24, 2023, and was slated to last for just five hours. Compensation included 300 Primogems for anybody who was Adventure Rank 5 or higher. That mail will expire in 30 days, so make sure to claim the free Primogems before it's too late.

New character and banners

Kirara is a brand-new 4-star Dendro Sword user who can create shields with her Elemental Skill. She will be available to summon on both Yoimiya and Yae Miko's banners, which will become available as soon as Genshin Impact 3.7 goes live.

Other featured 4-star characters include Chongyun and Yun Jin. Epitome Invocation will consist of the following boosted weapons:

• Thundering Pulse
• Kagura's Verity
• Akuomaru
• The Flute
• Dragon's Bane
• The Widsith
• Rust

Alhaitham and Kazuha will have their Event Wishes in the second phase of this update.

New Equipment

The only new weapon in this patch is Ibis Piercer, a 4-star Bow acquirable via the Duel! The Summoners' Summit! event. You need to exchange a certain number of Invokation Coupons that are yet to be revealed to obtain this item.

Its secondary stat is ATK%, and its effect is tied to boosting the user's Elemental Mastery after they hit a foe with a Charged Attack.

The following events have been confirmed to be present in Genshin Impact 3.7:

• Divine Ingenuity: Collector's Chapter
• Feast of the Departed Warriors
• Fayz Trials: Hypothesis

• The Forge Realm's Temper
• Heated Battle Mode: Tactical Formation

Duel! The Summoners' Summit! starts on May 25, 2023, and will end on June 19, 2023. The free weapon, Ibis Piercer, can be obtained from it. Divine Ingenuity: Collector's Chapter has a duration from June 8, 2023, to June 29, 2023.

Genius Invokation TCG's The Forge Realm's Temper will be available throughout the entire update. This event involves several stages of varying difficulties for Genius Invokation TCG. The new form of Heated Battle Mode involves using Character Cards and randomly generated Action Cards to win a duel. It will last from June 3 to June 12, 2023.
