The Broken Sea sub-area in Genshin Impact 4.8 is part of the limited-time area, Simulanka. Players can access this area by starting the third part of the event quest. This area features a plethora of puzzles including toy blocks, toy bombs, and more. It is quite a fun area to explore as it finds the right balance between thought-provoking puzzles and relaxing exploration.

Puzzle #1

You can find this toy block puzzle in Genshin Impact soon after setting foot on the Broken Sea. Take a yellow block and place it on top of the structure to get an Exquisite Chest.

Puzzle #2

This is another toy block puzzle where you must place the green colored blocks on the lower half of the structures and the red colored blocks on top of the structures. Complete the puzzle to get an Exquisite Chest.

Puzzle #3

This puzzle is labeled as a "Guessing Game Grand Prix". Choose the options listed below to get an Exquisite Chest:

Is that a rabbit dressed in blue clothes?
Is that a fox wearing green?

Puzzle #4

Take a blue block from below the puzzle's location to replicate the color scheme of the big boat it directly faces. Doing this toy block puzzle will reward you with a Common Chest.

Puzzle #5

Defeat a Pyro Slime to obtain a toy bomb. Use it to destroy the red block in front of the house to get an Exquisite Chest. Completing this toy bomb puzzle will allow you to interact with one of the three mining squirrels needed for a Precious Chest.

Puzzle #6

This is a pipe puzzle where you must get the magic tonic flowing into the barrel. This will let you interact with the second mining squirrel that you need to unlock a Precious Chest. You can also get a Common Chest for doing this puzzle.

Puzzle #7

You can find this toy block puzzle by going below the easternmost island. Defeat a few enemies and correctly place the colored blocks on the fishes to get a Common Chest and interact with the third mining squirrel.

Puzzle #8

Once you have completed puzzles #5, #6, and #7, return to the central hub of the easternmost island to unlock a Precious Chest.

Puzzle #9

In this toy block puzzle, help the red toy construct a large structure by putting four squared color blocks in the middle and a triangular color block on the top. Do this to get an Exquisite Chest.

Puzzle #10

This puzzle is a fun one as you have a fifty-fifty chance of succeeding or failing it. You can get an Exquisite Chest regardless of the outcome. Use only red colored blocks to help a squirrel build a heart to impress its lover. You can find one red block on each of the two islands. If you complete it, the squirrels will be happily in love.

Unfortunately, if you use a block of any other color, which I did, the female squirrel will leave its now former lover heartbroken, and go to the nearby island to be in love with a mining squirrel.

Puzzle #11

This is a simple toy block puzzle. Place the two green blocks on the wooden box to unlock an Exquisite Chest.

Puzzle #12

Offer a Pinecone to a mining squirrel to obtain a Common Chest.

Puzzle #13

Use the toy bomb to break open the left side of the wall. You can find a Common Chest inside.

Puzzle #14

Place the colored blocks in the respective structures in this toy block puzzle to obtain an Exquisite Chest.

Puzzle #15

Go to the southern edge of the middle left island to find a fire torch puzzle. Use a Pyro character and place two red blocks on the pedestals before lighting them on fire. After that, light the two torches to get a Common Chest.

Puzzle #16

Defeat a few Hilichurls to rescue an imprisoned toy. Completing this puzzle will give you a Common Chest.

Puzzle #17

Complete this toy block puzzle by placing the big blue block on the bottom. Place a squared block next before putting a triangular block to get a Common Chest.

Puzzle #18

You can do this toy block puzzle by replicating the blocked structures on the left island. Make use of the magical thread to get to the right island and use the blocks on this island to complete the puzzle which rewards you an Exquisite Chest.

Puzzle #19

You can find this toy bomb puzzle below the middle left island. Use the toy bomb to blow apart a wall and get an Exquisite Chest.

Puzzle #20

You must keep the supplies in an orderly fashion by putting the blocks into structures that match their color. You have to burn a red block to make it turn black. Once you place all three blocks in the right place, you can get a Precious Chest for completing this toy block puzzle.

Puzzle #21

Go to the bottom part of the middle right island. You can find a peculiar yellow patch surrounded by a crater-like formation. Interact to summon a flying cube. Follow it till it stops to get a Precious Chest.

Puzzle #22

You can complete this simple puzzle by decorating the exterior of a train carriage for a toy. In return, you can get an Exquisite Chest. Try to make it beautiful by putting origami flowers instead of my atrocious work shown in the image above.

Puzzle #23

On the first island of the Broken Sea, go down a hole and destroy the wall using a toy bomb. Go inside the opening it creates and defeat the enemies. You will get a Precious Chest as a reward.

Puzzle #24

You can complete this toy block puzzle by following the color scheme mentioned below:

Left origami: Blue exterior and yellow interior
Middle origami: Red exterior and brown interior
Right origami: Yellow exterior and blue exterior

Place the colored blocks accordingly to claim an Exquisite Chest.

Puzzle #25

Find the four wind current origami flowers scattered around the island to the left of the first one. Once you collect the four wind current origami flowers, you can get a Precious Chest.

Puzzle #26

Go to the middle left island to find a toy glowing blue. Pat its head and collect the Hydro particles to obtain a Common Chest.

Puzzle #27

Go to the bottom of the middle-left island and find a small wall blocking a path. Use a toy bomb to destroy the bottom-left portion of the wall. Go in to find a bunch of toy workers trapped inside a hole. Go outside to get a wind current origami flower and put it on top of the pile of wooden boxes. This will allow the toy workers to escape the hole. Completing this puzzle rewards you with an Exquisite Chest.

Puzzle #28

Sit on a bench next to a blue toy on the first island of the Broken Seas area. Listen to the toy's adventures to obtain a Common Chest. The toy also references a scene in Forrest Gump, a popular movie starring Tom Hanks.

Puzzle #29

This is a series of puzzles on the northernmost island of Broken Seas. All three puzzles are very easy to do as you must follow the three stars on the island. You can get the chests listed below for following the stars:

Left star: Common Chest
Right star: Precious Chest
Middle star: Luxurious Chest

You can also find a Jubilant Feather in the room where the Luxurious Chest is located.
