QOL optimizations
QOL updates are always very welcome, as all players look forward to these changes. Here are a few of the QOL updates that will be introduced in Genshin Impact version 4.8.
1) Bosses now respawn faster
All bosses will now respawn after a 10-second duration. The only exception to this is Lupus Boreas, Dominator of Wolves. This will make farming for boss materials a lot quicker.
2) Encounter points can be stored
A very big QOL addition that many players had been asking for — encounter points can now be stored for long-term use. Any encounter points that overflow the daily encounter point cap will be converted to "long-term encounter" points and stored. These long-term encounter points can be converted into standard ones by spending resin normally.
3) Option to hide UI
After the 4.8 update, players will have the option of hiding the dialogue UI as well as the map, party, and other UI elements on-screen. Those who like taking photographs will enjoy this QOL update.
4) Difficulty level of certain Mondstadt and Liyue domains has been adjusted
Version 4.8 of Genshin Impact will lower the difficulty level of certain Mondstadt domains such as Cecilia Garden, Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula, Forsaken Rift, Hidden Palace of Lianshan Formula, and Domain of Guyun. The Ley Line disorders in these domains will be adjusted to be less challenging.
5) Dialogue can now be reviewed
Genshin Impact 4.8 livestream announced the introduction of the new dialogue review feature, which will let players look at their dialogue history in any conversation. This will be extremely helpful for anyone who may have missed an earlier interaction or wishes to go through all the previous dialogue one more time.
