Genshin Impact 4.8 Phase 2 events schedule

The first phase of Genshin Impact's version 4.8 is almost over and HoYoverse has provided a preview of all the events that will be available during the second phase. According to the announcements, the second half will be packed with exciting events, new character banners, and more.

This article will talk about the events and their schedule in Phase 2 of Genshin Impact 4.8.

New character banners

During the second phase of version 4.8, our newest 5-star, Emilie, will debut on her limited-time banner. Players can wish for her using Primogems that they have been saving awaiting her arrival.

Alongside Emilie, Yelan will also get a rerun banner. Those eagerly waiting for her can finally take a breath of relief as she will be available to summon during this period.

The 4-star characters that will be featured alongside these exclusive 5-star units will be Yanfei, Xiangling, and Razor.

The banners of these two 5-star characters are scheduled from 6 pm server time on August 6, 2024, to 2:59 pm server time on August 27, 2024.

The exclusive 5-star weapons, Lumidouce Elegy (Polearm) and Aqua Simulacra (Bow) will be available on the Epitome Invocation weapons banner. These two are signature weapons of Emilie and Yelan respectively, and will be featured for the duration of their banners.

Along with the 5-star weapons, event-exclusive 4-star weapons that will become available are Makhaira Aquamarine (Claymore), and Wandering Evenstar (Catalyst), as well as the 4-star weapons, The Flute (Sword), Favonious Lance (Polearm), and Favonious Warbow (Bow).

Bing-Bang Finchball event

During the Bing-Bang Finchball event, players must launch Finchballs and reach a certain number of points to complete the challenge and earn the event-exclusive currency called Glittering Finch Coins. They can exchange this currency for various rewards like Primogems, Hero's Wits, Weapon Ascension materials, and more.

This event will be available from 10 am server time on August 6, 2024, to 3:59 am server time on August 19, 2024. Players must be at least Adventure Rank 20 and have completed the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III, "Song of the Dragon and Freedom," to be able to play the event.

Energy Amplifier: Lemma event

During the Energy Amplifier: Lemma event, players must use Motive Force Points to set up Ley Line Effectors and obtain combat buffs for their entire team. Travelers must complete the challenges in the event to earn various rewards like Primogems, Hero's Wits, Weapon Ascension materials, and others.

The event will be available from 10 am server time on August 12, 2024, to 3:59 am server time on August 26, 2024, and players must be at least Adventure Rank 27 to participate in it.

Overflowing Mastery event

The Overflowing Mastery event is a double drop rate event. Players who complete any Talent Level-Up domain during this period can claim double the quantity of rewards, while still using the minimum amount of Original Resin needed.

Players will need to be Adventure Rank level 25 or above and must have unlocked the Talent Level-Up domain to take advantage of this event.

After the second phase of version 4.8 of Genshin Impact goes live, Emilie's story quest will be available for players to enjoy and get to know her character better. They can unlock this character's quest by consuming a Story Key.

Emilie's story quest will be permanently available after 6 pm server time on August 6, 2024.

Travelers must be at least Adventure Rank 40 and have completed the Archon Quest Chapter IV: Act V, "Masquerade of the Guilty," to be able to unlock Emilie's story quest.
