Genshin Impact 4.8 second half banners: Countdown, release date, and characters

The Genshin Impact 4.8 banners have finally been confirmed on the Summertide Scales and Tales Special Program. The upcoming update will be released on July 17, 2024, and based on past trends, the second phase will begin on August 6, 2024, featuring two 5-star characters. Genshin Impact 4.8 second half banner characters and release date

Here are the characters who will be featured on the Event Wishes in the second half of the Genshin Impact 4.8 update:

• Emilie (5-star Dendro)
• Yelan (5-star Hydro)

Emilie is a new 5-star Dendro character from Fontaine. She is a Polearm unit that relies on the Burning reaction to deal damage. At the same time, Yelan will return for her third rerun banner. She is one of the best characters in the game and her being a Hydro unit allows her to fit into virtually all the teams.
