Floor 9
Since the Ley Line Disorder for Floor 9 increases Vaporize reaction DMG, including Pyro and Hydro characters in your team will help you clear this floor very quickly. These are the best teams and strategies you can use for Floor 9 in 4.8 Spiral Abyss (2nd cycle):
First half
- Neuvillette + Furina + Kazuha + Baizhu
- Hu Tao + Yelan + Zhongli + Xingqiu
- Arlecchino + Yelan + Kazuha + Baizhu
- Yoimiya + Yelan + Zhongli + Yunjin
Second half
- Childe + Xingqiu + Xiangling + Bennett
- Raiden Shogun + Xingqiu + Xiangling + Bennett
- Yoimiya + Xingqiu + Zhongli + Yunjin
- Raiden Shogun + Sara + Xingqiu + Sucrose
Enemies across all three chambers in Floor 9 are mostly susceptible to crowd control, so you can use Anemo CC characters like Venti or Kazuha for added comfort, although it is not strictly necessary. Trigger as many Vaporize reactions as you can to clear Floor 9 quickly.
Floor 10
Hydro characters have an advantage on Floor 10 due to the Hydro Ley Line buff. These are the best teams and strategies you can use to clear Floor 10 in 4.8 Spiral Abyss (2nd cycle):
First half
- Neuvillette + Furina + Venti + Baizhu
- Arlecchino + Yelan + Zhongli + Bennett
- Hu Tao + Yelan + Zhongli + Xingqiu
- Yoimiya + Yelan + Zhongli + Yunjin
Second half
- Childe + Kazuha + Xiangling + Bennett
- Neuvillette + Furina + Xiangling + Bennett
- Childe + Xingqiu + Xiangling + Bennett
- Arlecchino + Yelan + Kazuha + Kokomi
While it is not essential to bring along an Anemo crowd-control character, doing so (especially in the first half team) will make your run a lot faster. As long as you have a good Hydro DPS on your team, you can clear Floor 10 pretty easily.
Floor 11
The Ley Line buff for Floor 11 gives a whopping 75% Dendro DMG Bonus, so using Dendro characters to clear this floor is ideal. You can use these teams and tips to quickly clear Floor 11:
First half
- Emilie + Arlecchino + Xiangling + Bennett
- Emilie + Arlecchino + Kazuha + Bennett
- Nilou + Nahida + Kokomi + Baizhu
- Wriothesley + Emilie + Xiangling + Bennett
Second half
- Alhaitham + Nahida + Yelan + Kuki Shinobu
- Alhaitham + Fischl + Yelan + Baizhu
- Nilou + Dendro Traveler + Xingqiu + Kuki Shinobu
- Yae Miko + Nahida + Kazuha + Baizhu
Both halves of Floor 11 have multiple waves of enemies, so you can choose to bring along teams that can deal AoE damage. This will not only help you clear all the chambers faster but will also be very useful in the first chamber, where you have to defend the Monolith. AoE teams will be more comfortable to play with than single-target DPS teams.
Chambers 2 and 3 have Elite enemies such as Eremites, Kairagi, Nobushi, Vishaps, and Ruin Drakes. You don't necessarily need to group them but feel free to bring along an Anemo CC unit if you want to.
Floor 12
Floor 12 doesn't have any Ley Line disorders, so you can pick your teams according to your convenience and depending on how well-built they are. These teams and strategies can be used to clear Floor 12 in 4.8 Spiral Abyss (2nd cycle):
First half
- Neuvillette + Furina + Kazuha + Baizhu
- Raiden Shogun + Yelan + Xiangling + Bennett
- Alhaitham + Nahida + Yelan + Kuki Shinobu
- Ayaka + Shenhe + Kazuha + Kokomi
The first half of Floor 12 has enemies such as Ruin Graders, Meks, Nobushi, Eremites, Rifthounds, and the Perpetual Mechanical Array boss. Apart from the first chamber which has the Perpetual Mechanical Array enemy, the other two chambers have multiple enemy waves. Choosing an AoE DPS character will help you clear these enemy waves quickly and comfortably.
Also, remember to add a healer to your team to heal your characters from the Rifthounds' corrosion effect. A Freeze team is also a good option for the first half of Floor 12.
Second half
- Emile + Arlecchino + Zhongli + Bennett
- Navia + Chiori + Zhongli + Gorou
- Itto + Gorou + Zhongli + Bennett
- Clorinde + Chevreuse + Fischl + Thoma
The first chamber of the second half of Floor 12 has enemies such as the Hydro Tulpa and Tainted Water-Spouting Phantasms. These enemies have Hydro RES, so try not to bring Hydro-oriented teams to fight against them.
The second half of floor 12 in 4.8 Spiral Abyss has enemies with Geo Shields such as the Veteran Arithmetic Enhancer Mek and the Legatus Golem. Effectively destroying their shields requires you to use either Geo characters or characters who can trigger Overload reactions. Depending on the characters you have, you can go for a mono Geo team, an Overload team, or mix and match the two.
