Genshin Impact 4.8 update official banners and Emilie release date

The Genshin Impact 4.8 banners were finally confirmed in the recent Summertide Scales and Tales Special Program livestream. The upcoming update will introduce a new 5-star playable character named Emilie, a Dendro unit who will be available in the update's second half. Additionally, version 4.8 will bring back three very popular characters for rerun banners, including Navia and Yelan.

Here's the complete 5-star character banner order for the upcoming Genshin Impact 4.8 update:

Phase I (July 17, 2024)

• Navia (5-star Geo)
• Nilou (5-star Hydro)

Phase II (August 6, 2024)

• Emilie (5-star Dendro)
• Yelan (5-star Hydro)

Here are all the 5-star weapons that will be featured on the Weapon Event Wish in version 4.8:

• Phase I: Verdict (Navia's signature Claymore) and Key of Khaj-Nisut (Nilou's signature Sword)
• Phase II: Lumidouce Elegy (Emilie's signature Polearm) and Aqua Simulacra (Yelan's signature Bow)

Both phases will be available for three weeks each, so Travelers will have enough time to pull for their favorite characters.

Genshin Impact 4.8 will be released on July 6, 2024, at 11 am (UTC+8). Since the first phase will be available as soon as the version goes live, the release timing also applies to Navia and Nilou's banners.

Asia

Emilie will arrive on August 6, 2024, at 6 pm (UTC+8) on the Asian server, so players on this server will be the first to get the opportunity to pull for the Fontainian perfumer.

Europe

The players in the European server will be the second to have the chance to pull for Emilie, as she will be released on this server on August 6, 2024, at 6 pm (UTC+1).

America

As always, the American server will be last in line to get the second-half banners since Emilie will arrive on August 6, 2024, at 6 pm (UTC-5).

Emilie's banner will only be available for three weeks, which is enough time for players to pull for her.
