Genshin Impact 5.0 banners schedule and release date

HoYoverse has finally announced the Genshin Impact 5.0 banners. This will be the game's first Natlan update, and it will feature three new characters from the nation of Pyro. Additionally, the signature weapons of these units will be available on Epitome Invocation Event Wishes. Version 5.0 will also bring back two of the most popular characters in the title, including an Archon character.

The highly anticipated Genshin Impact 5.0 update will be released on August 28, 2024. The recent Natlan livestream finally revealed all the exciting new content that players can look forward to in the upcoming version. This includes the Event Wishes, which will feature three new Natlan characters and two popular character reruns.

Here are the complete Genshin Impact 5.0 banner characters and their release schedule:

Phase I (August 28, 2024)

• Mualani (5-star Hydro - Catalyst)
• Kazuha Kaedehara (5-star Anemo - Sword)
• Kachina (4-star Geo - Polearm)

Phase II (September 17, 2024)

• Kinich (5-star Dendro - Claymore)
• Raiden Shogun (5-star Electro - Polearm)

Since version 5.0 will be released on August 28, 2024, the first phase banners featuring Mualani and Kazuha will also be available as soon as the new version is live on the same day. Furthermore, their banners will only be available for three weeks.

Meanwhile, the second phase will begin on September 17, 2024. It will feature the new 5-star Dendro character Kinich and his pixelated partner Ajaw. Additionally, Raiden Shogun will return for her fourth rerun banner.

As mentioned, two new signature weapons will be released in version 5.0. Here is the release order:

• Phase I (August 28, 2024) - Surf's Up (5-star Catalyst)
• Phase II (September 17, 2024) - Fang of the Fountain King (5-star Claymore)

Surf's Up is Mualani's new 5-star signature Catalyst and will be available in the first half. Meanwhile, Fang of the Fountain King is a new 5-star Claymore. It is Kinich's signature weapon and will be available in the second half.
