New leaks from multiple sources hint at two new playable character releases in the Genshin Impact 5.2 update, namely Chasca and Ororon. While there's not much known about the second one, most players might already be familiar with the former if they have finished the Natlan Archon Quest. Additionally, Travelers can expect two characters from Mondstadt to get rerun banners in version 5.2.

According to Iris Leaks, Chasca and Ororon will likely be released in the Genshin Impact 5.2 update, expected to go live on October 9, 2024. The Natlan Archon Quest confirmed that the former has an Anemo Vision. Additionally, Chasca uses a Bow in one of the quest's cutscenes, which will likely be her weapon of choice as a playable unit.

Unfortunately, there's not much info on Ororon at this moment. Iris Leaks initially claimed that both Chasca and Ororon are 5-star characters. However, they later clarified that the latter is a 4-star Electro unit. This would make Chasca the only new 5-star unit in version 5.2.

Do note that Iris Leaks is a new leaker in the community so they do not have any proven track record. However, hxg_diluc and PTL have vouched for them so the leaks are likely credible.

Meanwhile, according to Foul, another popular leaker in the community, Travelers can expect Wanderer to get a rerun banner in Genshin Impact 5.2. This could be related to a recent leak that claimed there will be a Dragonspine event in this update, which might pick up from the version 4.8 event story about Durin. Foul is a reliable source so the leaks are likely credible.

On a related note, based on the assumption that there will be a Dragonspine event in version 5.2, Albedo might also get a rerun banner.

Lastly, it is safe to assume that one Archon will get a rerun in version 5.2 since it is an early Natlan update. Note that Raiden Shogun is in version 5.0, while Nahida and Mavuika are rumored to be in versions 5.1 and 5.3 respectively. Moreover, there will likely be a Dragonspine event in Mondstadt. Therefore, by process of elimination, Venti has a good chance of getting a rerun in version 5.2.
