Upcoming Genshin Impact 5.2 boss can turn into other boss enemies, as per leaks

Mero recently shared footage on their Telegram channel depicting an upcoming boss monster for Genshin Impact version 5.2, which is expected to be called Tenebrous Papilla: Type I, as per Hakush.in. The above video shows players a plant-like monster, which seems to boast the color scheme of Abyss/Night Kingdom.

In the footage, Tenebrous Papilla: Type I can be seen shapeshifting into various in-game bosses and performing their moves. This would be the first time an enemy is able to turn into other enemies, and as such, this may become a formidable foe upon release.

Not only does Tenebrous Papilla: Type I turn into other monsters from the franchise, it appears it can also deal damage of multiple elements. In the video, fans can see it deal Electro, Pyro, and Dendro damage to Mavuika.

It appears that this boss monster not only copies the appearance and movesets of other monsters but also copies their elements. This may make it difficult to go up against it as players will not be able to predict the monster or element they will face.
