Genshin Impact 5.2 will be released around the end of 2024, and leaks surrounding the patch have already surfaced. A recent leak from Stepleaks has suggested that players might be getting a Khaenri'ah-themed wind glider in version 5.2 of Genshin Impact. Previous leaks regarding the patch in question had hinted at Wanderer and Durin's involvement in the main storyline. The leak about a Khaenri'ah-themed glider further backs up this claim, as Durin's involvement in the main story might be related to Khaenri'ah/Dainsleif.

Leaks hint at Khaenri'ah-themed wind glider in Genshin Impact 5.2

According to Stepleaks, players might be getting a new wind glider in Genshin Impact 5.2. This wind glider will be related or connected in some way to either Dainsleif or Khaenri'ah or both. Dainsleif's last appearance in Genshin Impact was in the Archon Quest Chapter IV Act VI: Bedtime Story, where he had a brief but significant role to play.

Previously, leaker @foul_leak on X had hinted at a Wanderer rerun and Dragonspine-themed patch in Genshin Impact 5.2. If these leaks turn out to be true, then it wouldn't be too much of a reach to suggest that Dainsleif might be involved in the plotline as well. The Simulanka main quest in Genshin Impact 4.8 foreshadowed a future storyline involving the dragon Durin.

Durin was a dragon created by Rhinedottir (also called Gold), an alchemist from Khaenri'ah. It was also Rhinedottir who created the synthetic human Albedo, who has strong ties to Dragonspine. The Bedtime Story questline revealed that Rhinedottir was among the five great Sinners of Khaenri'ah.

All these characters are linked to one another by various degrees of separation, which would explain all of them coming together for a rumored Dragonspine/Khaenri'ah-themed patch in Genshin Impact 5.2.

With the leak of a hinted Khaenri'ah-themed wind glider now out, players have been speculating amongst themselves as to what the glider might look like. Many are of the opinion that it might be either blue or black in color since these are the prominent colors in Dainsleif's palette.

That said, all of this is mere rumors and speculation at this point, and nothing is set in stone till HoYoverse reveals some official information about Genshin Impact 5.2.
