The leaker has also disclosed that version 5.2 will feature a Dragonspine event. Leaks hint at Wanderer rerun in Genshin Impact 5.2

According to foul_leak, Wanderer will be having his own rerun banner in version 5.2 of Genshin Impact, which is expected to be released on November 20, 2024. While this is still mere speculation, Wanderer having a rerun in one of the upcoming patches would make sense, considering his involvement in the 4.8 Simulanka main storyline.

Albedo and Wanderer's conversation regarding Durin towards the end of the Simulanka quest heavily foreshadowed more screen time for Wanderer in the future. If the leaks about Wanderer having his rerun in 5.2 turn out to be true, then he can definitely be expected to be a main part of the event story.

Surprisingly, Wanderer's last rerun was in version 4.6 of Genshin Impact, which was just a few patches earlier. However, if he is crucial to the storyline in 5.2, then getting another rerun so soon wouldn't be too unexpected. There hasn't been a Dragonspine-related update in very long, so fans are very excited about revisiting Dragonspine after a significant amount of time. Version 5.2 taking place during November-December would also work well as a Christmas patch featuring the snowy locales of Dragonspine.

Further leaks about the Dragonspine event have also hinted at both Wanderer and Rhinedottir's appearance during the 5.2 questline. However, all of this is still mere speculation, and fans will have to wait for the Genshin Impact 5.2 livestream for confirmation about both the rerun banners and the main event of the patch.
