Genshin Impact 5.2 Ochkanatlan Relay Ball puzzle locations

Ochkanatlan is one of the new regions of Natlan introduced in the Genshin Impact 5.2 update. It offers exciting puzzles and challenges for players to explore and immerse themselves in. Among them are the Relay Ball puzzles, which require players to transform themselves into Saurians and use their special abilities to guide a Relay Ball from one point to another.

As of version 5.2, there are four Relay Ball puzzles in Ochkanatlan, divided into sets of two that are located close to each other. This article will feature the locations of all the Ochkanatlan Relay Ball puzzles in Genshin Impact 5.2 and provide a brief guide on how to solve them.

All Relay Ball Puzzles in Ochkanatlan in Genshin Impact 5.2

As mentioned above, there are a total of four Relay Ball puzzles in Ochkanatlan introduced in the Genshin Impact 5.2 update. To unlock the Ochkanatlan region and easily access the Relay Ball puzzles, it is recommended that you complete the Vaulting the Wall of Morning Mist World Quest and the subsequent quests that follow after completing it.

Once you gain access to the Ochkanatlan map and unlock all the Teleport Waypoints, you can then explore and find all the Relay Ball puzzles:

1) Relay Ball Puzzle #1

The first Ochkanatlan Relay Ball puzzle in this list is located on a stone platform floating high up in the sky. To reach it, use the Qucusaur's flying ability.

Out of the three Teleport Waypoints in the central square of the Ochkanatlan map, teleport to the middle waypoint (refer to the map image above). Once there, transform into a Qucusaur and begin flying northeast.

Along the way, you’ll come across plenty of Scorchwind Conflux and wind currents, which will help keep your Phlogiston fully replenished. These will allow you to glide smoothly and easily reach the two floating stone platforms.

The first Relay Ball puzzle is located on the lower floating platform. Upon arrival, you'll notice a grappling hook on each side of the outer stone ring.

To solve the puzzle, use the Yumkasaur's abilities to grab the Relay Ball and fire it at the red Converter. Once the ball leaves the Converter, quickly pull the grappling hook below it to rotate the outer ring.

This movement will align the receiving end of the red platform with the Relay Ball's trajectory, completing the puzzle. Solving it will reward you with an Exquisite Chest.

2) Relay Ball Puzzle #2

The second Ochkanatlan Relay Ball puzzle is located on the higher floating stone platform, right next to the first puzzle. As with the previous puzzle, you'll find two grappling hooks on opposite sides of the outer stone ring.

Start by using the Yumkasaur's abilities to pull either of the grappling hooks, rotating the outer ring to align the two Converters with the receiving platform. Next, grab the Relay Ball and fire it at the farther Converter, the one facing toward the receiving platform.

Once the Relay Ball is launched, quickly pull one of the grappling hooks again to move the blocking Converter out of the way. This will guide the Relay Ball to its destination, completing the puzzle and rewarding you with a Precious Chest.

3) Relay Ball Puzzle #3

The third Ochkanatlan Relay Ball puzzle is also a part of completing one of the Furnace of the Fiery Embers puzzles as well. To access this puzzle, teleport to the first waypoint located near the beach northwest of the Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven (refer to the map image above).

Once you teleport, head northwest to reach the Fiery Embers sigil. Interacting with the sigil will take you to the underground region where the Relay Ball puzzle is located.

To solve this puzzle, transform into the Yumkasaur Saurian and use its ability to pull the nearby grappling hook. This action will temporarily open the two gates next to it. Since this is a time-based puzzle, you must act quickly to pass through both gates before they close.

Once you reach the Relay Ball on the other side, pull the grappling hook near the puzzle to reopen the gates. Then, quickly grab the Relay Ball and aim it at the receiving platform. Wait for the moment when the gates provide a clear opening to fire the Relay Ball, completing the puzzle.

Completing this puzzle will allow you to progress further into the Furnace of the Fiery Embers, taking you towards the final Relay Ball puzzle in Ochkanatlan.

4) Relay Ball Puzzle #4

The final Relay Ball puzzle is found at the lowest level of the Furnace of the Fiery Embers and can only be accessed after completing the previous puzzle. This challenge consists of two parts and requires you to interact and follow the Fiery Embers sigil, which serves as your guide throughout the process.

To begin, follow the Fiery Embers sigil as it moves behind the gate on the left. Use the Yumkasaur's ability to grab the Relay Ball and fire it at the Converter that is positioned toward the closed gate. Quickly pull the nearby grappling hook near the closed gate to open it, allowing the Relay Ball to pass through. This action completes the first half of the puzzle.

Next, enter through the opened gate and interact with the sigil again. Follow it as it moves to the center of the room, where it will clear the barrier blocking the second receiving platform. This step will also cause another Converter to partially descend into the center of the room.

Look for a grappling hook near the suspended Converter and pull it to lower the Converter completely, aligning it with the receiving platform. Finally, grab the Relay Ball and fire it at the descended Converter to finish the puzzle. Completing both parts of this challenge will reward you with a Precious Chest.
