As mentioned earlier, Genshin Impact has finally drip-marketed Mavuika as one of the upcoming playable characters for version 5.3. She is set to become the latest Archon character to be available as a playable unit.

Here is the official description of the Pyro Archon according to her drip marketing post on X:

Given Mavuika's status in the game, it is natural to assume that she will be a 5-star Pyro character. Moreover, she was seen wielding a Claymore against Capitano during the Archon Quest so that could be her weapon type as well. However, this is only speculation and not officially confirmed.

Going by the ongoing update schedule of the game, it is safe to assume that version 5.3 will be released on January 1, 2025. Therefore, Travelers can expect Mavuika to be released on one of the following dates:

• Phase I - January 1, 2025
• Phase II - January 21, 2025

That said, it is likely that Mavuika will be released in the first phase because she is the Pyro Archon.
