Mavuika is speculated to debut as a playable character in Genshin Impact 5.3, which is set to be released on January 1, 2025, as per the Natlan update schedule. While there is considerable time for it and HoYoverse may likely make changes to her gameplay, many may be interested to learn what recent leaks have shared about her.

According to information from Uncle 归来 and shared by HxG_Diluc, Mavuika's overworld ability will allow her to navigate the sky, water, and land. While it is currently unknown how the ability works, it could be similar to how Chasca's flying and Furina's walk-on-water abilities function.

Fans would be excited for her overworld ability if it would allow her to explore multiple types of terrains in the overworld with ease.

Aside from this, the leaker mentioned two other potential abilities of Mavuika. Firstly, they suggested that she can provide the Nightsoul state to any other in-game character. This could be game-breaking as it would allow non-Natlan units to also utilize the Nightsoul mechanics. Furthermore, it will enable them to use the Obsidian Codex and the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City artifact sets, introduced in version 5.0.

Secondly, the information indicated that similar to other Archons, Mavuika will be able to apply her element off-field. Considering there aren't many off-field Pyro sub-DPS in the title, if the information holds, she may become core in many reaction-based team compositions.
