Genshin Impact 5.3 Mavuika banner: Release date, countdown, weapons, and 4-star characters

Pyro Archon Mavuika's banner will be released in Phase I of Genshin Impact 5.3 when the new version goes live on January 1, 2025, at 11 AM (UTC +8). She is a popular character in this title, and many players are waiting for her to finally be playable. Her banner will be available alongside 5-star Cryo unit Citlali's featured banner in the first half of Genshin Impact 5.3.

The following 4-star characters will be featured on Mavuika's banner in the first half of Genshin Impact 5.3:

• Kachina (4-star Geo)
• Diona (4-star Cryo)
• Bennett (4-star Pyro)

Both Kachina and Bennett are good teammates for the Pyro Archon. The former is a fellow Natlan character who can provide her support in multiple ways, and Bennett is already one of the best supports available in the game. Diona is also a decent Cryo character who can be used for shielding and healing.

• A Thousand Blazing Suns (5-star Claymore; Mavuika's signature weapon)

• Stringless (4-star Bow)
• Lithic Blade (4-star Claymore)
• Sacrificial Sword (4-star Sword)
• Favonius Codex (4-star Catalyst)
• Favonius Lance (4-star Polearm)

A Thousand Blazing Suns is Mavuika's signature weapon and is worth considering if you are pulling for her. Citlali's signature weapon is another great option.

Among the 4-stars, the Sacrificial Sword and the Favonius weapons are great options for many characters in the game.
