Genshin Impact Anniversary 2024 rewards

The release of version 5.0 also comes with the Genshin Impact Anniversary 2024 celebration. This anniversary will mark four years since the release of Genshin Impact. To thank the players and show appreciation, HoYoverse has announced some exciting rewards, including a 5-star character selector, that Travelers can claim once the new update goes live.

Genshin Impact Anniversary 2024 rewards

Free 5-star Character Selector

In version 5.0, players will be able to log in and claim a 5-star character of their choice from the standard banner for free. Once the 5.0 update goes live, this 5-star selector will be available until October 8, 2024. The characters that will be featured in this 5-star selector are going to be:

• Dehya (Pyro claymore user)
• Keqing (Electro sword user)
• Mona (Hydro catalyst user)
• Qiqi (Cryo sword user)
• Jean (Anemo sword user)
• Tighnari (Dendro bow user)
• Diluc (Pyro claymore user)

Moreover, every Genshin Impact Anniversary from now on will include a free 5-star character selector, and new permanent 5-star characters will be added for players to choose from.

Log-in events

The 2024 Genshin Impact Anniversary is going to feature two separate log-in events.

There will be a log-in event in version 5.0 where players can claim Primogems x 1,600 (Image via HoYoverse)

There will be a 5-day log-in event in version 5.0 of Genshin Impact, where players can log in to claim various rewards like:

• Primogems x 1,600
• Firstborn Firesprite
• Kaboom Box
• Sanctifying Elixir x 1

Sanctifying Elixir is a new gadget that will be added in version 5.0. Players can use the Sanctifying Elixer to generate an artifact of their choice with their desired sub-stats.

This log-in event will be available from September 28, 2024, till the end of the version 5.0 update.

A 7-day log-in event worth Intertwined Fate x 10 will also be available in 5.0 (Image via HoYoverse)

The second log-in event that will be available in the new update is a seven-day log-in event where players need to log in for seven days in total to claim Intertwined Fate x 10.

This event will be available from August 30, 2024, at 4:00 am (server time), to September 18, 2024, at 3:59 am (server time).

Initial Top-Up bonus reset

The initial bonus that players receive after purchasing Genesis Crystals on the Crystal Top-Up page will be reset as a reward for the Genshin Impact Anniversary once version 5.0 goes live.
