Genshin Impact Broken Sea Three moles Precious Chest puzzle guide

The new limited-time map of Simulanka is divided into three main areas: Forest of Blessings, Constellation Metropole and Broken Sea. There are plenty of chests scattered throughout these three areas, which give players rewards such as Primogems, Mora, and Excerpts of Bliss.

Below is a guide that will explain how to get the Precious Chest in Broken Sea by solving three different toy mole puzzles.

The location for this particular puzzle is in Broken Sea in the Simulanka map. Teleport to the waypoint on the eastern island on Broken Sea, and walk down the stairs to reach the puzzle location.

How to solve the Genshin Impact Broken Sea Three Moles puzzle

The puzzle requires players to gather three mining moles from nearby locations and bring them to their proper positions in front of the chest. All three moles are situated very close to the puzzle location, so there is no need to teleport out to any of the other islands.

Mole#1

The first mole is in the cave (Image via HoYoverse)

To gather the first mole, head over to the cave to the right of the puzzle location. You will find a hamster, two toy figures, and the mining mole in the cave. Rearrange the pipes accordingly so that the magic tonic can flow through them and reach the hamster at the end.

Once the tonic has reached the cup that the hamster at the end of the pipes is carrying, you will be rewarded with a Common Chest, and an option to send the mining mole back to its original position. Click on the "Head back once you're done eating!" option, and the mole will teleport to its hole in front of the chest.

Mole#2

The second mole is right behind the teleport waypoint on the island. Turn around and you will see two toy figures and a mining mole. Interact with the mole by clicking on the "We need something red" option. A Pyro slime will pop up, which players will need to defeat. Following that, you will need to place a toy bomb on the building block in front of the toy figures and detonate it.

Once the toy bomb has detonated, you will be rewarded with an Exquisite Chest, and will also be able to interact with the mole again. Click on the "Thank you! Now please go back!" option, and the mining mole will teleport away to its original position.

Mole#3

The third mole can be found on a ledge beneath the puzzle location. To reach the mole, walk straight past the Precious Chest and jump down and glide towards the right. You will see the mining mole surrounded by hilichurls. Defeat the hilichurls first.

After that, place the toy blocks in the correct locations. Remember to sort them by color, so that the blue block is in the blue area, and the yellow and brown blocks are in their respective empty slots inside the fish.

Once you place all the blocks correctly, you will be rewarded with an Exquisite Chest, and the ability to interact with the mole. Click on the "It's safe now!" option, and the mole will teleport back to its original position.

Once all the mining moles have safely made it back, the puzzle will be solved, and the Precious Chest will be unlocked. Players can then open it and claim the rewards of 10 Primogems, 1 Excerpts of Bliss, 2 Mystic Enhancement Ores, and some other items.
