Genshin Impact Bronzelock Natlan local legend location, how to beat, and achievement guide

With the release of the Genshin Impact 5.2 update, six more Natlan Local Legends have been added in game (in addition to the 10 Natlan local legends from Version 5.0). Defeating each of these Local Legends rewards players with special achievements. Among the six new Local Legends, one of them is called Bronzelock, and it can be found on a small island way up in the sky in the Ochkanatlan area.

How to defeat Natlan local legend Bronzelock in Genshin Impact

Bronzelock's location

Bronzelock is located on a tiny island in the sky in Ochkanatlan in the Natlan 5.2 map. To get here, you first need to start the main Ochkanatlan World Quest, City Buried by Ash.

After starting the quest and unlocking the Ochkanatlan area, follow these steps to reach the island where Bronzelock is situated:

Step 1: Reach the island southeast of Bronzelock's island

Teleport to the waypoint northeast of the Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven. Once here, transform into a Qucusaurus and fly to the big island east of it. This is the island southeast of Bronzelock's island, and you will need to get here to start your journey to reach Bronzelock.

Step 2: Transform into a Saurian and start the Flowlight target challenge

You will find a pool on the northern side of this island, with a Koholasaurus Spiritsconce near it. Use the Spiritsconce to transform into a Koholasaurus, and start the Flowlight target challenge. Keep destroying the Flowlight targets along the way as you progress. After you destroy all the Flowlight targets, you will find that you have circled back to your starting point on the island. This concludes the first part of the challenge.

Step 3: Ride the Spiritway to reach Bronzelock

After the first half of the challenge has been completed, a Spiritway will now be unlocked. In Koholasaurus form (or use Mualani), step onto the Spiritway to ride it all the way to the island in the sky, where you will find Bronzelock.

How to defeat Bronzelock

Bronzelock is a relatively easy-to-beat Local Legend, who doesn't have any particularly tough moves or mechanics. Since it is an Earthguard Ruin Drake, it has pretty much the same attack patterns as that of a standard Ruin Drake. It can absord elements from your party members and increase its Elemental RES against that particular opponent.

Follow these tips to defeat Bronzelock:

• Attack Bronzelock with your best DPS team and try to dodge its attacks.
• When you see Bronzelock charging up to unleash its attack, make sure to hit its exposed core (on its head) to immobilze it, following which you can continue to attack and defeat it. You can use Bow characters to attack its core, or characters who can deal Aerial damage such as Neuvillette, Wanderer, Chasca, etc.
