Genshin Impact Chasca gameplay leaks: Idle animations, Elemental Skill, Burst, and more

Chasca is an upcoming Anemo character in Genshin Impact and her gameplay animations from the beta have been leaked by Mero, a reliable source. This includes her idle, attacking, hovering, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst animations, some even featuring a massive gun that she rides like a horse. With Chasca's release, the game will introduce a new playstyle, which Travelers can look forward to.

Idle and attack motion

Chasca has two idle animations. In the first one, she removes her hat and shakes her head to fix her hair. Meanwhile, in her second idle animation, she summons a shiny object and tosses it with both hands.

Chasca's attacking animations are pretty normal. When using Normal Attacks, she fires a few arrows while taking a step back at every attack, and she enters aiming mode when charging her shot.

Elemental Skill

According to the leaked gameplay video, Chasca summons a large gun and stands on it after casting her Elemental Skill. She can also ride it like a witch or use the reins while standing up to move around for exploration. Meanwhile, in combat mode, she aims at her enemies and marks them before reloading her magazine and firing multiple shots at them.

It is worth adding that Travelers can also see Chasca's reloading ammo with different elements and each attack triggers a reaction related to the corresponding element. The AoE of her Elemental Skill is also pretty large, which should make combat easier against multiple enemies that are spread out.

Elemental Burst

Chasca's Elemental Burst animation is also pretty cool. It starts with a slight close-up of her as she holds the tip of her hat before it cuts to her standing on top of a large gun, which fires a shot with a large AoE and swirls multiple elements. The burst animation also suggests that she is the only new 5-star unit in version 5.2.

Chasca will be released in the Genshin Impact 5.2 update. While the developers haven't revealed the banners for the next version, Travelers can expect her to be released on one of the following dates, depending on the phase:

• Phase I - November 20, 2024
• Phase II - December 10, 2024

That said, based on the recent banner leaks, Chasca will likely debut in the first phase.
