Solving the Chauvigne and Panuelle puzzle is one of the many things players can do in the Genshin Impact 4.8 update, which launched globally on July 17, 2024. The patch has introduced the Simulanka map for a limited time, similar to the Golden Apple Archipelago. Hence, adventurers are engaged in completing such tasks to collect all the resources available in the area.

The Chauvigne and Panuelle puzzle is tied to a Precious Chest, so you might want to prioritize it during the treasure hunt. This guide will help you locate and complete the puzzle.

The Chauvigne and Panuelle puzzle is located in the middle of the Broken Sea in Simulanka. This is a limited-time summer event area that was introduced in the Genshin Impact 4.8 update.

You must interact with Panuelle to complete the puzzle. The NPC is located on the small island on the left, which has its own teleporter to provide access.

How to complete the Genshin Impact Chauvigne and Panuelle puzzle in Genshin Impact

Talk to Panuelle on the Broken Sea island before proceeding to the puzzle segment. The NPC will briefly talk about how Chauvigne, the potted flower, is hiding down the caverns where wind and sunlight couldn’t reach. Hence, you will be tasked with rescuing the floret and scooping it back to a place where it can absorb the sun.

As soon as the cutscene ends, turn back and drop down from the ladder side onto a wooden path. Follow the passage to the cavern entrance to spot Chauvigne blowing wind that will prevent you from entering the cave.

You should be able to access a small intractable bubble by the Hurricane Lantern below the rock. Interact to choose the dialogue prompting the following:

“Panuelle Sent Us Here!”

Doing so will cause Chauvigne to loosen its guard. Talk to the NPC and persuade it to return to its companion. Scroll through the dialogues and carry Chauvigne back to the surface. Place the potted flower on the table next to Panuelle to complete the task.

Completing the Chauvigne and Panuelle will unlock one of the Precious Chests in Genshin Impact’s event-exclusive Simulanka map. Open the casket to receive 10x Primogems alongside other resources.
