Many credible Genshin Impact leakers, including Seele Leaks, Hakushin, and HomDGCat, have shared Citlali's supposed kit in the game. According to these leaks, Citlali is a great shielder and support character who can be used in a variety of teams.

Citlali's Elemental Skill

Citlali's Elemental Skill reportedly performs a triple role: creating a shield, summoning a creature called Obsidian Tzitzimitl: Itzpapa, and simultaneously dealing Nightsoul-aligned AoE Cryo DMG.

Citlali's shield supposedly scales off her Elemental Mastery and is capable of absorbing Cryo DMG with 250% efficiency. After using her Elemental Skill, Citlali automatically enters the Nightsoul's Blessing state.

If Citlali has at least 50 Nightsoul points, the creature Itzpapa enters the Opal Fire state and continuously deals AoE Cryo DMG. When Citlali's Nightsoul points are completely depleted, Itzpapa's Opal Fire State ends.

Citlali's Elemental Burst

Using Citlali's Elemental Burst reportedly unleashes an icy storm that deals AoE Cryo DMG while restoring 24 Nightsoul points for Citlali. Additionally, three Spiritvessel Skulls are created near three nearby enemies, which explode after a short while, dealing AoE Cryo DMG and restoring some extra Nightsoul points for Citlali.

Citlali's Elemental Burst is believed to have a cooldown of 15 seconds and costs 60 Energy to cast.

Citlali's Constellations

Here are Citlali's Constellations based on the leaks:

  • C1: After Citlali uses her Elemental Skill, she gains the Opalstar Vestments effect and obtains 10 Stellar Blades. When characters on the team (other than Citlali) deal DMG to enemies, one Stellar Blade is consumed to increase the character's DMG by 200% of Citlali's Elemental Mastery. If teammates trigger Melt or Frozen, Citlali gains three more Stellar Blades. Additionally, Citlali's Phlogiston consumption when using leap or Charged Attack in mid-air is decreased by 45%.
  • C2: Citlali obtains 125 Elemental Mastery, and any characters shielded by her Elemental Skill obtain 250 Elemental Mastery. This also enhances Citlali's A1 Ascension Passive so that when teammates trigger Melt or Froze, affected enemies have their Hydro and Pyro RES decreased further by 20% for 12 seconds.
  • C3: This increases the maximum Talent Level of Citlali's Elemental Skill by three.
  • C4: When the creature Itzpapa summoned by Citlali's Elemental Skill deals AoE Cry DMG to enemies, an extra Spiritvessel Skull is created. When this Spiritvessel Skull explodes, it deals 1200% of Citlali's Elemental Mastery as AoE Cryo DMG while also restoring 16 Nightsoul points to the character. This effect is considered Elemental Skill DMG, not Elemental Burst DMG.
  • C5: This increases the maximum Talent Level of Citlali's Elemental Burst by three.
  • C6: The creature Itzpapa summoned by Citlali's Elemental Skill always remains in the Opal Fire state, which will not end even when Citlali's Nightsoul points are depleted. Additionally, after Citlali uses her Elemental Skill, Itzpapa continuously consumes Nightsoul points in order to grant Hydro, Pyro, and Cryo DMG bonuses to teammates. The maximum DMG bonus that can be obtained in this way is 60%.

Citlali's playstyle

Based on the information provided by the latest leaks, Citlali is best played as a shielder plus support unit in teams that (preferably) have Pyro or Hydro units as the main damage dealer. She can provide good Pyro and Hydro elemental RES shred plus DMG buffs.

As a support unit, Citlali can equip the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City artifact set to provide even more buffs (granted no one else on the team is already equipping it).

Citlali reportedly also has a very high multiplier for her Elemental Burst, meaning that you can use her for a quick nuke every now and then. Even though she is meant to be used as a support, you can also play her as a sub-DPS in Melt teams because of her overall high damage multipliers.
